• The New YouTube UI Looks Great, Except For When Your In The Current Video Page. I Hate The Up & Down Arrows That You Have To Touch To Open The Video Info, Related Videos Or Comments Section! I Don't Know why Google Didn't Just Keep The Old Style Of Scrolling To The Right To Get To The Related Videos & Comments? I Mean You Have To Click More, Just To Get 4 More Related Videos At A Time Because Of The Comments Section Below? That's Ridiculous!! Fix It Google?
• I love this app... but after I updated it, the layout completely changed, and there's way too much white space on the screen. I'd appreciate it if there was a way you could choose between the old layout and the new layout. That way, it would be less confusing for some people to find what they are looking for. I am totally lost when it comes to this new layout, so could you guys please add a way to choose between the old and new layout? Thanks!
• Still has the best community and content available for mobile devices. Interface is easy to use and unobtrusive when watching videos, related videos can be useful but seldom recommend say the next video in a 3 part series for example. Still cannot keep Youtube playing when the screen is screen is locked, and the latest update has removed the function for making videos full screen, though the option is there whilst adverts are playing.
• Same problem as others, the app doesn't format the video in the correct resolution. The videos start to play with crazy colors. I find it odd how I can watch a full HD video trailer without any problems until I watch a homemade HD video. FIX! UPDATE App works beautifully now and has great resolution. Multi touch is at play and the seamless UI makes reading comments and viewing related videos a breeze.
• This new layout makes easy to find discover new videos, and to keep track of your subscription uploads. Its easier to comment. The light background makes for a more pleasing experience. The old carousel effects is that, old! The new videos where mixed with old it was a mess. Also this new look is consisted across all YouTube sources. Great Job.
• I previously had issues with videos not working for over 3 months, but you guys have fixed it - thank you! :) It was a pain not having YouTube working on my phone for such a long time, but now that it's finally up and running, I really start to appreciate the luxury we smartphone users are given. Great work with the beautiful UI, love the app!
• YouTube app is great. The movie app the google has is a poor shame. Many functions are lacking on the app. Btw Google should know that the Vizio Co-Star is loaded with bugs. Its making Google look poor. Please look into it. Fix the pronlems. I was a big android and google fan. "Was".
• I use YouTube all the time. The app looks good on my phone and on my tablet. The playback is as good as my internet will allow and the UI adapts to different screen sizes, making it better optimized and all-around usable.
• I can't understand the 4-star average. This app is excellent. It has nearly everything you could ask from YouTube. I guess most people just can't be satisfied with anything less than perfection.
• Used it before on my old phone just got the upgrade for this phone,. The upgrade tends to find more songs on a more accurate level.
