- I've been studying Japanese for over 9 years. This will be useful for my trip to Japan in December and January. The handwritten Kanji is particularly good. Now all I need is my tablet for everything and I can use my electronic dictionary if this app lets me down because that also has handwritten kanji with a stylus.
- Can't I use the Write Kanji input for multiple kanjis.Handwriting keyboards are not that accurate to write kanji. your Write Kanji input is far better
- It does not waste resources, that is how Android caches processes. Background service may start periodically to update widget, but is not always on.
- @sanjuro Read explinations, no reason not to install!! This app has everything you need, only Japanese app I use. And I'm studying Japanese at uni!!
- OCR is great, lookup is perfect. Recommended N2 TTS not available to dl from Market in the USA (?!) but that's not Ni's fault!
- This is such a great app for such an amazing project. Please support this dev. A widget would be great too!!! Hint hint.
- By far the best Japanese dictionary on Android. Easily comparable to my favorite on the web which is popjisyo. ;)
- Love it! Very useful! Only issue: Kanji of the day won't automatically update even when I set it to do so.
- Greatness, as expected from this site. I only wish all languages had their own Jim Breen sites and apps.
- You've outdone the original dictionary by a lot. Please don't remove any current features.
