Now there are two ways to purchase the Winamp Pro features. Either as an in-app purchase of the "Pro Bundle" from the free version of Winamp for Android or by purchasing this "Winamp Pro" application. If you have already purchased the "Pro Bundle", do not purchase this app.

Note

This "Winamp Pro" app is a key (or license) that unlocks the Pro features in the free version of Winamp for Android. If you purchase this app separately in the Android Market (as opposed to an in-app "Pro Bundle" purchase) you will need to keep both apps ("Winamp" and "Winamp Pro") installed.

Known Issues

  • Pro Bundle - Gapless playback, Crossfade, & EQ not supported for M4A files on Android 2.1
  • Pro Bundle may not be supported/available on older or less expensive devices with chipsets that do not support floating point calculations

  • App works well. Menus are a little bit clumsy at times and the player will rarely crash causing a phone reboot. Honestly besides being a PC winamp fan for years the main reason I bought this was because it was one of the few well built apps that allows you to organize your music by folder! I cant stand sorting by album artist track name etc. I would drop another 5 bucks if it supported DLNA,
  • Using it on my razr maxx with jvc xx earbuds. Sound quality is phenomenal. I tried the poweramp app before because it had free equalization. However, sound was too artificial and a bit too colored.. bought the winamp pro, and couldn't be happier. I have used cowons, Sony higher end players, rockbox on old ipods, etc. and this tops it all. Thanks nullsoft.
  • As an ex-iphone user and long time itunes hater, I would be remiss if I underplayed the significant impact WinAMP making an Android app had on my decision to switch to an Android phone. It's been my favorite media player for over a decade and I'm equally impressed and in love with their mobile player. Five Stars.
  • I bought this twice, but I don't care because I love winamp. I like that winamp knows if you already bought it with a gmail account. Please give me skins. Like the preset skins in "winamp modern" before the beno skin. Please. It would be so rad.
  • Player is good, interface is less confusing than poweramp. However, there are no skins available that I can see. Though access to shoutcast is really what sold this for me.
  • Winamp was the first mp3 player I used over 10 years ago. It is still my favourite. The android version is nice and simple. Keep up the good work guys.
