- For Galaxy SII users then this widget in combination with the widget called DataEnabler work like a dream. Just toggle your WiFi and mobile data connections on and off without having to bugger around in the settings. The important thing is that they don't seem to interfere with anything else and prioritise WiFi over your mobile data connection which saves you some dosh. If battery life is your priority, then just uses your mobile data link ll the time. It actually uses less watts to power the mobile chip.
- You guys rock, thanks for great and lightweight widgets, I have never had an issue with any app from curvefish, For everyone you must delete the old widget on the desktop AFTER an update, and re add it, or it will say "unable to load widget" if you read the information you would know this, it is not curvefish making a bad app, it is the user not following the instructions, don't give a bad rating for your own stupidity
- This is just what the doctor ordered for my power saving strategy. So far it seems to work really well and it could not be simpler to operate. I'm an Android newbie and the only thing that got me was during the installation, where I had to do the widget thing. Got it figured out and it's all good.
- I've used this for about 2 years and it's great. Simple and direct. I want wifi on, I push the button. I want wifi off, I push the button. That's all I needed. A no fuss on/off wifi app. Thank you programmer! EOF
- Simple but well done, small file, no onerous permissions. When you click it on or off, the switch pauses for a half second in the middle then goes to the new state and changes the red/green LED.
- Works exactly as promised - looks good as well. I had seen some cases where it fails, but couldnt exactly reproduce the problem. Overall very good experience
- What a concept. A light switch for WiFi. No guess work. No battery drain. It's either on or off. You decide. Thanks for brilliant simplicity.
- Brilliant tiny app that gives you a very simple on / off switch for your WiFi, also is a very quick way of seeing if your WiFi is off.
- Nice simple thing for the home page (along with GPS onoff). One of those 'does what it says on the tin' things.
