VLC Direct Pro Free

After a lot of work, we have released the new version of VLC Direct Pro Free,

and this time is FREE with all the PRO features enabled!

  • Remote control VideoLan VLC from your Phone/Tablet (play, pause, stop, volume, fullscreen, change video/song, dvd menu control, change audio tracks, change subtitle tracks, etc.)
  • Streaming from Android to Computer (Video, music and photos)
  • Its internal video player allows streaming content from the Computer to Android (Video, music and photos)
  • Subtitles supported

If you have any question, request or complaint, please don't give the app a low rate, just send us an email and we will answer within a few hours (sometimes within a few minutes!). Be sure we will do our best to solve your specific problem.

To configure your VLC, just download and run the following script in your PC (only windows):

(Remember running it as administrator the first time: Right click on it and then "Run as Administrator")

Windows will ask you permission to make changes in the VLC folder and allow VLC to access the network. Those actions are necesary for proper function, please allow them.

What does the script?

Basically, It starts VLC with its web interface enabled, and passes it some parameters to improve codec finding and rtsp streaming performance.

Important notes about VideoLan VLC Versions:

RECOMMENDED VLC VERSIONS: 2.0.5, 2.0.3, 2.0.2, 2.0.0, 1.1.11

NOT RECOMMENDED VERSIONS: 2.0.4, 2.0.1, versions older than 1.1.11

supported formats: avi, flv, mp4, mp3, mkv, wmv, jpg, mpeg, mpg, rmvb, m4v, mov, 3gp, ts, vob. (Some videos in these formats might not work because sometimes VLC can't transcode them into an android supported format -mp4 or 3gp-)

  • Ce n'est pas parce qu'il y a marqué «VLC» que C'EST le lecteur éponyme !!!! Il suffit de prendre 10 secondes de votre superbe vie de gens supers pressés pour lire la description et comprendre de quoi il s'agit. De plus, mettre une étoile aux programmeurs qui ont créé un super programmes sous prétexte que vous ne savez pas ou que vous êtes dispensés de lire les descriptions, c'est ÇA LE FOUTAGE DE GUEULE ! Respectez un peu leur travail. Mieux vaut ne pas noter l'application plutôt que de mal la noter à cause de votre incompétence. Le programme fonctionne très bien, est rapide à configurer et est facile d'utilisation. Un «must have» pour les flemmards comme moi qui veulent diffuser les vidéos de leur pc sur leur TV SANS avoir à se lever du canapé. ;) Félicitations aux programmeurs.
  • Vraiment une appli superbe. Installée sur mon SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 : - permet de lire sur le VLC de l'ordinateur le contenu de mon téléphone (mémoire interne ou carte SD, l'audio ou la vidéo); - permet de lire sur mon SAMSUNG le contenu audio ou vidéo de mon ordinateur. et tout ça, en streming. Ca m'évite de devoir copier sur la carte SD un film que je voudrai voir pour pouvoir le visualiser sur mon téléphone. C'est sûr que ce n'est vraiment utile que dans son réseau local. Vraiment génial.
  • Franchement rien a dire, appli excellente!!! Ecran tv branché en HDMI sur le pc! Tout le contenu du pc directement dans le smartphone, télécommande, mettre la musique du smartphone sur vlc.... Et tout sa sans bougé, tout depuis l'application! Parfait! Par contre en français sa serais bien.
  • Tres pratique et parfait pour controler VLC depuis son canape. Par contre le streaming sur mon galaxy note saccade beaucoup. C est desagreable et rend cette fonction inutilisable pour les videos
  • VLC and all their products are the best. This app is brilliant, I have 2.05 twoflower on pc, and it is seamless. Help with a donate,I intend to. I am honest user and big fan. Thnx vlc.
  • Please make a donate version! A jump button would be nice though (to skip ahead.) Using the slider isn't very precise.
  • Works great! I'm using it to stream from my Linux pc to my S3.
