This new app from Small Screen Software, maker of the highly popular Checkbook Genius app, lets you test salaries using its salary calculator, maintain lists of work projects and timesheets, and even track offers. With the world of work changing from permanent to contract/freelance, this is a tool you won't want to be without.
What is Time, Distance & Money? Time, Distance & Money is a program that gives recordkeeping and math tools to working professionals. It consists of three main pieces - the Salary Calculator module, the Projects module, and the Offers module.
The Salary Calculator module lets you dynamically calculate salaries or pay rates based on information you enter, and lets you figure out your expected pay for time frames
ranging from a week all the way up to a year. The slider bar lets you add to or subtract from your "test" salary figure in 5 percent increments - see what a small bump will do for your take-home pay, or see if you can cut your salary quote to that prospective employer to stay competitive with other job candidates!
The Projects module lets you keep track of work projects you may have, along with a timesheet section for recording any time and distance you accumulate while doing your work. This module is ideal for information technology workers wanting to keep track of multiple projects.
The Offers module lets you keep track of simultaneous offers you may receive from employers or work places. It lets you compare multiple offers in one convenient place, so you can make the best choice. And you can keep track of deadlines so you don't blow a big opportunity.
