- Im on a Samsung Admire from Metro PCS and i have it rooted. Two updates ago (the one before the update where Pinger told us consumers not to update yet) the app use to show me notifications of new messages on my top bar, but after i updated to the "turbocharge" it doesnt do it anymore. Most people would see where this is a problem because if you're like me, you have a ton of apps and dont heck Textfree constantly, so when i randomly click on Textfree, because i haven't gotten a message in forever, it then..
- App seems to work flawlessly with the HTC EVO 4 G from virgin mobile. Space I love the way it send free text messages to anyone in my phone book under a new number that they gave me I haven't had any such problems since installations the update works just fine. Now to try out that new free Voip add-on!!!!
- This app has worked out great since I have been without phone service lately! Great still being able to text friends on wifi with no problems at all. Only request would be a popup notification so I don't have to leave my other app to read and reply!
- To all who says wheres the calling its when you have an I-pod you can call on pinger and to the owner of pinger whats up with the sending pictures every time hit send to a us number it doesnt work but to another pinger account it does
- Idk what all these ppl are talking about..works great...doesnt force close. I'm happy I can stay intouch. I couldn't pay my phone bill until next week because I'm in the hospital. But I was still able to text my mom. I'm very happy
- The app is great got cheated by my service provider but my phone is still in use. Thanks alot very appreciated. Next update add some customization. No rush not a big deal just hot funny tones would like to use
- I had this app for about two mths bow. I love it. Being able to call people that don't have text free would be great but with that comes viruses. I like how when people call you it sends you a text.
- Great ! Haven't had any problems with it since I got it . Really great app . Wish I could take pictures of my messages like the iphone . Oh well , other than that extremely great app !
- Right after I submitted the first review asking for a fix, it started working again. Great app! Very useful for me as I no longer have phone service but my house & family have wifi.
- They finally put the Pinger free texting/calling on this market (I checked on the web version of this market).... But it's not available in the USA yet :/ PLEASE HURRY :/
