Stress Check by Azumio
Stress Check is the most innovative tool available for quantifying your level of psychological or physical stress. By measuring your heart rate through the camera and light features on your Android, Stress Check can estimate your level of stress in real time.
Using Stress Check by Azumio you will be able to:

Everyone has experienced changes in heart rate before taking an exam, giving a public speech, or when exercising. In fact, not only does your heart rate increase, but the time variations between consecutive heart beats become more random and scattered as well. By analyzing this factor of heart rate variability (HRV), it is possible to estimate your level of stress wherever you are, with no additional hardware.
Analysis of HRV requires heart pulse data to be measured continuously for a certain period of time. The more you use Stress Check, the better the app gets to know you and your heart.
Algorithms used to analyze HRV follow recommendations of European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (NASPE).

- I have problems with food allergy and have found this app, and Azumio's Heartrate monitor, invaluable tools for giving me credible and accurate biofeedback that reflects the foodstuffs I eat and provides a benchmark so I now have additional visibility of my progress towards eliminating problematic foods. These apps correspond to physical signs of stress when a contaminant is present in my diet, so I know the returning results are spot on! Thank you.
- This app works great on my HTC inspire. Don't press too hard on the camera lens and don't move yourself or the phone until it's finished. My finger never gets warm, let alone hot when using this app, so maybe it has something to do with differing placements of the camera light between different mobile phone models. My finger never touches the camera light.
- Top app. Very spot on. I've been having high blood pressure problems from a allergic reaction to solvents and each time my body's reacting its reading exactly how I feel, even when I start to feel better. Cleaver app! But does burn the finger with the flash being so bright so I just hold my finger just over the camera.
- What are you using this app for? Try deep breathing and positive thinking (you control how you respond to stress -- unless there's actually something wrong with you). I rated high to combat the haters and dummies knocking such a novel app. (no, I don't think it's accurate or necessary) -nxs4G
- this app works well on my pantech element tablet with 3.2.1 android os. but just like heart rate monitor it laks the landscape feture but in my book still deserves a 5star rating simply because it works well specialy after a stressful day at work. great job guys. thanks robert j.
- Perfect accuracy on pulse. I can perform a stress test when working outdoors in heat, and this app detects stress in heartbeat and tells you when to stop and rest. (if you tend to push it too much)
- First I thought Its a joke, then got a little serious, but today when I tried measuring my stress level, it gave me the dead on result (today I kinda had a rough day per say)....
- If this application was merged with the Instant Heart Rate application, it would be a fantastic tool for anyone interested in their health management!
- Cool app but it's calculating my age wrong. It seems not to take into account whether I've already had my birthday this year or not. But still 5 stars
