• Bei dieser Version von Sonic CD handelt es sich um ein Remake des Originals mit der sogenannten "Retro Engine", welche von Christian Whitehead (aka The Taxman) eigenhändig geschrieben wurde. Sega erkannte (Gott sei Dank) das Potenzial der Engine und setzte sie prompt für ein Remake für eines der besten Sonic Games ein. Die Engine emuliert die 2D Physiken mehr als akkurat und bietet zudem Widescreen Support sowie konstante 60 fps. Das Spiel selber läuft nahezu perfekt und lässt sich mit dem XPeria Play sehr gut steuern. Die Optionen ob man den US oder JP Soundtrack haben möchte ist sehr willkommen und Tails als freispielbarer Charakter (welches im Original nicht so war) ist ebenfalls ein sehr netter Touch. Rundum ein mehr als gelungenes Remake zu einem sehr gutem Preis!
• The fact that Sonic CD is now portable is mind blowing enough, but Sega have made some key changes that means this is more than just a simple port: - Sharp graphics that run at 60fps widescreen. - Tails is playable. - Both JP/EU and US soundtracks - Sonic CD and Sonic 2 spindash. I was concerned about how the controls would work (I love physical buttons) but the touchscreen buttons work superbly on my Nexus 4 and Nexus 7, and Sonic's controls are super tight. Totally worth every penny! A loving port of an underrated game, this is Sonic at his finest!
• All the enhancements you'd want: wide screen, equally pixellated yet clean (it looks identical and yet there's non of that Genesis grime if you will), butter smooth better than original frame rate, an unlockable enhanced graphics mode that smooths the jaggies, an extra playable character, options for the Japanese soundtrack... and oh yeah, this game was great to begin with. The largest most explorable levels in any 2d sonic game. Very impressive!!!
• The ad Sega added is unneeded and uncalled for. The update also seems to bring a number of performance issues. It's a wonderful this game worked good in the beginning. But with Sega's track record, I figure they wanted to botch their game so it doesn't stick out of the rest of their bug riddled games. I use to be able to expect quality from Sega, but this is just another example of why I had to lower my expectations for Sega.
• Sein Geld auf jeden Fall wert! Und mit dem Xperia Play wirklich klasse spielbar! Ich liebe Sonic CD! Alle die hier wegen Serverproblemen nur einen Stern geben haben ganz groß einen an der Waffel. Als Tipp: Einfach mal nach den Daten die er noch runter laden möchte googeln und Diese selbst auf die SD schieben! *Ich rede NICHT von der APK!*
• The game plays smoothly on my S2. Not only that, but the option to choose between the US and Japanese soundtracks is brilliant, as the JP soundtrack is down right the best of Sonic's games.
• I love the sonic series and the last two ports of sonic 1 and 2 were absolutly horrible but this has brought some life back and I can say it was worth every cent!

• Klar, 270MB zusätzlich runterladen ist recht heftig und dauert bei schlechter Verbindung schon etwas ... Aber für dieses Spiel ist es das wert!
