- It was a driver issue on USB that finally made me go hunting wireless transfer products. I tried a few, I had one I bought a long time ago that never worked great, but I just wasn't pleased. I setup this, and combined with filezilla ftp client on my windows PC I was uploading, creating directories, queuing transfers. I have truly been missing out. No more driver issues for me, this is my new favorite app.
- Initially it did not work but after changing from port 8888 to port 2121 it worked flawlessly. According to my basic understanding port 21 is usually set for ftp protocol. Change port number under settings. The app will ask for 4 digit port number just use 2121 it should work fine. Btw, great job dev.
- OK, first couple of times I tried it I couldn't get the ftp line in the 'service running' window, but THIRD TIME LUCKY! It does everything it's supposed to quickly, cleanly and efficiently. FYI, I use FileZilla with Windows Vista -seamless! Great app.
- It really works, creates a WLAN on its own and it is possible to connect using laptop wireless and use trivial ftp. Works also with Ubuntu laptop. The transfer rates are in order 2 Mb/sec. with large files. Complements FileZilla (on the laptop) nicely.
- This app does it all as it allows you to connect to your device as it shares its wifi so you don't have to worry about being on a wifi network but rather connect to its own wifi network. Sort of like tethering but with file sharing. Simply amazing.
- My Droid RAZR (v4.0.4) has problems connecting to the USB port (not recognized). I installed this app and did an ftp session with my Droid Razr using my Firefox browser on my Windows Vista laptop seamlessly. What a relief! What a great app!
- This program is fantastic, easy and fast. Works great between tablet as server and phone running Android 2.2.1. No need to start wifi or anything - all done for you. For those with multiple Android devices this is a must-have app.
- Since my recent phone update I havent been able to transfer files from my phone to my pc via USB, and this is the ONLY app that has worked for me. Absolutely love it!! 5 stars all the way :)
- Not much to this application, but it does its job extremely well. It'll save me so much time from having to wait for my SD card to be ready after disconnecting the cable. Highly recommended!
