- Slacker has come along way. I do believe this time around they are a direct contender to Spotify and such. I for one will be upgrading to pro. Unlike Spotify radio, using Slacker Radio I haven't heard the same song in two days. For me this is awesome. Spotify suppose to have huge selection but whether I was starting spotify several times a day or first time for the day I more often than not heard same songs. A waist of my data. Go Slacker!
- I've been using this app for years from Blackberry to Android. The new UI is a stark contrast, but looks slick. Also, it's much easier to find my favorite stations now called "Bookmarks." Totally loving this great new update! My only complaint is not being able to favorite it change songs using Android ICS notification feature.
- Finally, superb organization! I loved it before even when it was like trying to solve a puzzle to find the kind of music you wanted. Now, the table of contents and Index system is so well organized, I wish I could give slacker 6 stars! Keep up the good work you're really on the right track.
- Unlike most comments, I actually really enjoy the new UI design. It seems cleaner, the functionality is easier to get to, and there is less 'in your face' UPGRADE NOW! stuff going on. Kudos to slacker for making a bold move, I will certainly use it more now.
- I like the new ui just takes some time to get use to. Simple and groups are nice. Everyone hates change and then later they say they like it. Great app! Give the option for dark theme and this will be better than all streaming apps! Well already is better.
- As you can see I love slacker. I listen to it all the time. I paid for the premium version and it's worth every penny. Blows Pandora out of the water. And the new UI is awesome. I don't know what everyone is complaining about. Thank you slacker!!!!
- Totally awesome! New update looks different but hey i gave it a chance. it works flawlessly ! A dark theme would be nice. I'm now a premium member. Any song on damand and unlimited song skips rocks! Can't get that on there competition.
- This has been a great music service and I recommend it to everyone.. for $3.99 a month you cant get more selection. And now this new update makes it even more cool! Good job Slacker, keep it up.
- You can do many things without upgrading, such a switch through songs and play or replay them if desired.. A week a download stations without upgrading. Thanx for the update..
- all these reviews are negative because of the color... I think some people just need to complain! it plays much smoother and hasn't frozen up like the last versions
