SharesFinder

SharesFinder is intended for scanning wireless local networks for shared resources (SMB, FTP, HTTP). You can explore SMB resources directly by SharesFinder, HTTP resources with Android browser and FTP resources with another tool supporting this protocol (FtpCafe or AndFTP).

Shares Finder is a simple analog of Windows "My network places". Also, it can be used as SMB client.

  • I have been looking for a app for my phone (SG2) what is easy to use and more to the point it works! I have copyed from 3 PCs 2 photos (7.8mb a pic) and 1 video (55mb) and i could view the pics and play the video. I was looking for a paid ver. But there isnt one. I will say to everyone that is having problems copying files from there PC it will most likey be a setting on my PC, Modem or your phone or what every your using. I really dont think its the app. And its not the fastest way to copy files.
  • I would consider myself at a "novice" user level, in terms of Linux proficiency, having worked with xbmc and installing ubuntu/xubuntu/lubuntu on my desktop and netbook. I found SharesFinder on the market installled it on my Motorola Atrix 2 and was able to access shared files on my desktop running Windows with ease.
  • Awesome software.... Was searching to find out how to transfer files from my sdcard to my network share without connecting my mobi to my lappie .....this sw helped me... My files are getting shared as I am typing this review.... Gr8 job guyz !!! Luv it.....
  • Simple, fast, dependable. A must if you have a complex home network. Also the only app I have given 5 stars. Keep it up dev. Only suggestion is that you get rid of ads and implement a "donate" version to reflect the apps professional design.
