Sales Tax CA
Automatically calculates local California State sales tax exactly where the user is standing. The sales tax in California varies, sometimes appreciably, from city to city and county to county, how do you know what it is as you stand in front of that item you want to buy? Sales Tax CA is your mobile solution. Simply open the app, it will find where you are and what the sales tax is in that location of California. Enter the price of the item you would like to purchase and any discount the store is offering, click the button and the total price will be shown on your device. It even shows you the discounted price prior to adding the sales tax and the specific amount of this sales tax. Never be confused by store displays on discounts and "we pay the sales tax", know right on your phone how much the final cost of your purchase will be.

No need for a calculator - I just use my phone to wrap up the remote sales :-) Initially I had a glitch in the tax rate for my area, but as soon as I commented to the developer, he was on it and had a fix to me in a reasonable amount of time. Now it works correctly every time & I rely on it a lot. Great app - try it!
