Rfi - remote for Roku players

Known issues
- Search and enter text features don't always work with Hulu. This is unfortunately their fault and I can't do anything to work around it.
- Some Honeycomb devices are unable to use this app.

- If you have a Roku, this app is one that is a must! Instead of having to look up the IP address for the Roku device, it automatically does it for you. Easy! For some reason my Roku changed the IP once in a while and it was a pain to try and look it up each time. I tried this app and I am very impressed. (I have also used this app to play tricks on my kids... they are watching tv and for some reason the show just pauses... {insert evil laugh here})
- App could not automatically find my roku, so i just plugged in the ip address in manually by finding it under settings on my roku. Best things are 1. the keyboard use 2. can use it anywhere in the room (does not need line of sight) and 3. can see the remote in the dark (my phone's back light). :-)
- Just be sure to enable wireless first and make sure you are connected to the WAP for a few seconds before launching this app. Will more than likely download the 99¢ add free version. The text entry field is reason enough to use this app.....plus its fun to play tricks on my kids from another room.
- Worked perfectly on my retired OG Droid running CM7. Instantly detected my box and just worked. I was so happy that I bought the "pro" version. I use it in conjunction with an application to keep my WiFi turned on at all times (even with the screen on), so the remote doesn't drop the connection.
- I love being able to control what I'm watching with my phone. I particularly like the search and input functions of this app. Trying to input letters with the Roku remote is a pain. This makes it so much easier.
- My sons lost their roku remote somewhere in their room and this Is a perfect substitute! We have one of the first generations of roku and it worked.
- Worked perfectly. Logged into my WiFi network and found the ROKU instantly. I have no delay between pressing and the action. Using the Droid 4.
- Works great. Automatic pair with XS. Being able to directly select Roku apps makes the original controller a distant second to this!
- and is small. No frills app does what you want it to. FYI, Roku recently came out with their own remote that is here on the market.
- Works just as good as the real remote! And I don't have to put my phone down or search for the remote anymore to switch episodes :-)
