Quicker lets you put frequently used settings and shortcuts into a single place and access them from there quickly. It extends standard stock settings with better volume and brightness controls, as well as free memory indicators. Built in screen and LED flashlight make it even more useful.

Quicker uses following permissions:

  • "Storage" for backup / restore feature
  • "GPS location" for switching GPS on/off (see **)
  • "Take picture & video" for LED flashlight
  • "Directly call" for the shortcut widget when you adding a direct call shortcut
  • "Reading log data" for being able to report issues
  • "System tools" permissions for changing various system settings

Quicker uses these permissions for the purposes listed above only.

FAQ

  • Can Quicker launch after phone restart? Yes, just install it to the phone memory (not SD card)
  • Why Brightness switch does not work? If you have a SwipePad running, then it can interfere with this function on Android 4.0 or higher devices.

NOTE 1: Although Quicker does its best to switch Mobile Data, GPS and WiFi Hotspot with a single click, there are devices / Android versions where these settings cannot be switched directly. In such cases shortcuts to stock settings are available only.

NOTE 2

Why no direct switch? Because Android security model does not allow installed applications to change secure system parameters. This is done to protect users from malicious application that can misuse those parameters otherwise.

  • Thank you for the ICS update! With so much competition, you need to stay ahead of the pack with new features, even though this is a superior app in terms of quality and reliability, and being a tool for productivity, fuel that, perhaps try incorporate the ability to have more toggles on one screen or something like quick desk, where you can utilize a double tap of the home button to launch the app from anywhere or even just a theme option, after all, most people use android for its customization
  • WIFI Hotspot not working with app? VM Motorola Triumph & others? It's the mobile carriers blocking that in the phones ROM, not the apps fault. Don't 1 star a great app! Root the phone if you want that feature, & risk being deactivated by the carrier for breaching the activation agreement you obviously failed to read. Unrooted Motorola Triumph 'Android 2.2.2'.
  • 5 stars for the best application I had on my first sgs: quick settings. I paid for this app in respect for what you did with that one, but this needs more work to be fully functional. I don't need another home screen, I just need some widgets to fast toggle things on and off and adjust volume and profiles fast. Keep up the good work.
  • And working much better with ics than anything else I've tried. I would like to see an even lower base brightness setting irrespective of the separate screen dimmer.. It's the one thing widgetsoid had over this. Still this is the cleanest toggler out there. Thanks dev, been using your stuff for a long time.
  • I used Quick Settings for ages but decided to try the free version of Quicker which I found a lot better. I then purchased the full version of Quicker which is a great app and very easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quick way to change settings. HTC Desire Z
  • Мастхев для смартов Motorola, где в статусбаре нет выключателей вообще. Киллер-фича, как по мне, в том, что при вызове Quicker текущее прилож. не сворачивается, вернувшись назад, находишь его в том виде, в каком оставил. Это в разы удобнее, чем виджеты на столе.
  • DROID BIONIC... very nice. Internal memory shows my app storage. External memory shows my internal.. nothing shows ext SD card?? Love the 1% battery in notification bar... how bout some color tweakability.. i paid and would pay again for theme add ons

  • Отличное развитие предыдущей версии, но не хватает экранного фонарика. На Galaxy S нет LED вспышки. Хотелось бы в следующих версиях его увидеть.
