PdaNet Tablet (new)
This software allows you to get FULL Internet on an Android tablet if you have an Android phone.
Simply install this program on your Android tablet then select "Configure" to pair with your phone. Follow the instruction if it asks you to install FoxFi or PdaNet on your phone side.
Depending on which phone and tablet you have, you can connect using either WiFi or Bluetooth.
This is completely rewritten and supports Full Internet access with zero delay.

- First - I have been using PDANet for at least 2 years, maybe 3. I have had many different computers and phones and have never had to repurchase my serial# - and have been able to install it on all my new phones - I do have 2 serial#'s - one for me and one for my husband (his never seems to work...) We were able to cancel our very expensive home internet - it was through my carrier - 50.00 a month and like hardly any usage...RIDIC! - Not only did we just have the one time cost - it was a 100x faster!! We live in a rural area - so dialup or satellite are our only options. Recently I got a Vizio - and wanted to use my phone as a WIFI hotspot - as WIFI really isn't available anywhere close by, especially not at home. After a couple weeks, I finally figured out I was not able to use the bluetooth with the Vizio - PDA sends you to FoxFi - took me a couple weeks to try it and get it figured out - so bought the full version and its working great...so for around 20.00 I have had internet usage for a few years at home - and now have WiFi whenever I need it - We did get the Nexus with 4G - just in case I needed it as it is for work - but don't think i will ever need it!! - I've got a Garmin GPS in my Car that is serving as nothing more than a Headsup Display since 2008. I used to use it for Bluetooth purposes as well but lately it has sucked so bad that I've had to resort back to a headset. I recently purchased an Asus Nexus 7, on which I've got Google Maps, Waze and Inrix Traffic to find my way around for Navigation, Traffic and less expensive Gasoline. With the help of this App, I look forward to tether the Asus Nexus 7 over Bluetooth to my Motorola Photon 4G in order to enable my use of the Voice Navigational Features of Google Maps as well as the Headsup Display for Traffic or Gas Prices. I can now have Internet as well in my car, which will allow for a whole bunch of other things too but at least my minimum requirement is satisfied. I will report back on my usage here as time goes along.
- This app is one of the best or maybe the best ever developed for accessing the internet on your PC using your Cell as the modem or via Wi-Fi thru your phone ...ever since my android G1 phone which I think has been about 4yrs now, this app has been installed on my android G2 phone, Dell PC, Sony Vaio PC and now on my Acer tablet! Never had a problem connecting to the internet when I use it besides when the signal strength of the device that I'm using is a bit low, its the best tethering app ever developed..
- I use this instead of paying an obnoxious WiFi hotspot premium on Sprint. I do have to use Bluetooth but it works great, and only took a few minutes to set up once i figured out how to get foxfi installed ( thanks for blocking that one sprint!). I'm using this with an HTC EVO Shift and the ASUS Eee pad transformer. However if you have juice defender enabled it will shut down your data connection, so keep that in mind ;3
- Works perfectly with PC and GS2 Epic 4G Touch. I installed the 32bit app on the winXP box and it connected without issues. One thing I would like is for the tray icons to be hidden when phone is not connected. That would be nice but not a must have.
- Works awesome!!!!! I can now surf on my Nexus7's better screen anywhere I go using my HTC inspire connected to FoxFi via Bluetooth. Make you launch both programs within a relatively short time for the best chance of them seeing each other.
- I can honestly say this app is amazing. It was a straight foward installment. And everything works flawlessly. I like how I can even send texts using my computer so I never have to touch my phone. Amazing app!
- Works perfect from my ATT Samsung infuse to my nexus 7. I mostly use the Bluetooth to save battery on my phone but some apps don't work. If you want to use those apps use the WiFi hotspot instead! Thanks!
- I just added CM9 to my HP touchpad and needed a solution to make it so that I can use it when I'm on the go. It is the perfect solution for me to create a wifi hotspot from my Optimus V. Thanks!
- It's great apps like these that make the internet cool. Works with my asus tf101 and samsung prevail. Setup in 2 minutes. Sorry to those paying for a 3G data plan for their tablet.
