• First: great work! This is a tested and stable software with very very good cpu - ram consumption. This App is fast and reliable. I use this app succesfully and over hours at a Galaxy Tab, HTC Wildfire, momo 9.3 And: nice UI concept! ok at a small display it is like it is a small handy display hasnt a big screen, i think here take this app also a very good approach. If u have problems with tracking: + if u hav enow gps fix u get not position @Jens, no position means no precondition for tracking is reachead, this is not a Orux Map problem, it is a slow gps chip or bad gps signal reception inside a forest, a town, a room ... + if u have problems with self made map files (use m o b a c): dont forget to use a low resolution (5 - 7 ?) and a high resultion layer like 12 - 19. So 2 or 3 layers are good. Use alway the sql format. @Heinrich: take your homework also and check what u have done ...
• Sehr viele Funktionen. Klasse wenn man mit dem Rad oder zu Fuss unterwegs ist und kein Netz hat. Nutze die App sehr oft. Offlinemaps lassen sich gut erstellen. Bedienung ist manchmal ein wenig verwirrend. Findet den Startpunkt bei Trackaufzeichnung manchmal nicht obwohl GPS an ist. Kleine Verbesserungen hier und da noch nötig. Trotzem volle Empfehlung. Toll wäre es, wenn man die Möglichkeit hätte, bestimmte Streckenabschnitte bei der Trackaufzeichnung extra hervorzuheben Nutze die App auf einem S2
• Offline-Karte erstellen, auf Handy oder tablet laden, GPS einschalten und Track aufzeichnen, alles problemlos möglich und zuverlässig. Die Software hat mich während einer Wanderung auf dem schwedischen Kungsleden mehrmals bei Nebel und Regen auf den rechten Weg zurück gebracht. Auch das Planen von Etappen durch vorheriges Eingeben der Koordinatenpunkte war möglich. Auch sehr nützlich- die Anzeige der aktuellen Höhenmeter. Für "Outdoor-Leute" absolut zu empfehlen und sehr nutzlich.
• Bestes Outdoor app dass ich kenne. Egal ob selbest erstellte Karten oder online Karten, dieses app ist schnell und zuverlässig. Zudem benutze ich den Polar Wearlink Pulsgurt der jedesmal sofort funkioniert (Im gegensatz zu manch anderen prog wie ....tastic, run... wo ich min. 3-5 verbindungsversuche brauche.) Und das beste, es kostet nichts. Würde auch gerne 6 Sterne geben :-). TOP TOP TOP - GO ON (Samsung S2 / CM9)

Features route following, track creation with GPS, interaction with various sensors and bags of customisation. The only reason to ever uninstall it is to change to the paid version!
• Dises App ist eines der Besten und Nützlichsten das ich kenne. Bergsteiger, Wanderer, Mountainbiker einfach alle Outdooraktivitäten werden hier mit praktisch allen Karten versorgt. Wer schon lange mal eine perfekte Wanderkarte mit allen Höhenlinien etc.braucht und das auf Wunsch alles Offline. Ich würde 6☆ geben.
• Nach vielen Versuchen das einzige Programm mit dem man sowohl die entsprechende Karte erstellen kann, als auch gpx tracks importieren, Statistik + Höhen anzeigen und somit auch nachwandern kann. Karte auf tablet erstellt und dann auf handy kopiert.
• Ich nutze OruxMaps jetzt schon seit einiger Zeit, entdecke aber immer wieder neue Funktionen. Seit einem kürzlichen Update können jetzt sogar Garmin-Karten verwendet werden, was die Nutzung der OpenMtbMap als Offline-Karte ermöglicht. Klasse!
• Ich hatte keine Ahnung von dieser Art Programme. Und habe für die Grundfunktionen nur kurz gebraucht. Als wir uns dann am Bodensee in den Bergen verlaufen hatten, brauchte es offline mit GPS nur ein paar Minuten und der Rückweg war gefunden.
• Funktioniert perfekt mit dem MTB GPX-Tracks nachzufahren und dabei die eigene Strecke aufzuzeichnen. Nur die Größenbeschränkung für Map-Downloads stört, kann man jedoch aufteilen auf mehrere Kartenbereiche.
