OnTrack Diabetes
OnTrack is an application to help diabetics manage their diabetes by tracking various items such as blood glucose, food, medication, blood pressure (BP), pulse, exercise and weight.
Features include
- easy to use interface makes it a snap to add new entries
- Add multiple entries simultaneously, for example add glucose and medication at one time quickly and easily
- a variety of detailed graphs and reports
- a detailed log book with tables and graphs suitable for sharing with your doctor
- Supports both US (mg/dl) and international (mmo/l) glucose units.
- export your data in a variety of non-proprietary formats including CSV, HTML, XML
- annotate each entry with a category (breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc)
- customize categories, medications, exercise types and more by adding, removing or renaming as desired
- automatically have OnTrack select the right category for new entries based on time of day
- activate reminders on new entries, for example remind yourself to test two hours after eating food.
- Your data is your data, backup and restore as needed and even move it from one phone to another
NOTE: Before upgrading to a new version of OnTrack we always recommend backing up your data first using the backup option under the Tools button in the OnTrack dashboard.

- My wife, who is a nurse, says this app saved my life (she tends toward the dramatic). The most useful feature, if you ask me, is the glucose range pie chart, which color codes low, normal, high, and very high sections. So at-a-glance you see where you are, glucose-wise. I showed this to my doc and he changed my prescription from metformin to janumet (sp?), and my levels have gone from generally high (sometimes very high) to generally normal. That's why the wife says it saved my life. Anyway - back to the app - VERY easy data entry, not only for glucose but other things such as blood pressure, exercise, etc. Visually pleasing icons. Configurable categories. Plenty of Reports and Graphs. Exportable, for backup purposes. All the cornerstones of a good data collection/reporting system. Awesome app.
- I really like how it is simple and answers to my diabetic needs. It would be nice to have a widget to quickly add preset fields into the log. Also the graphs would serve a better purpose if I could choose the number of days myself, instead of the default today, week, thirty days and ninety days. A greater customization to the graphs section and a widget would make this app with out a doubt the best diabetic app for android. It's been a great help for me.
- Been using it for quite a while now. If I could request a feature, it would be to allow us to set reminders per a particular time, rather than as a timer (3:00 PM instead of 3 hours from now, for instance). Otherwise, great app and feature rich without being bloated. Does what you need it to, including exporting and mailing; I export my list and send it directly in to my doctor from the app as a CSV.
- This Application is literally a life saver - It's helped me take control of my type I. I would suggest however, that when inputting BG that the classification (Breakfast/Lunch/Unfiled) defaults to the nearest standard meal time. Perhaps let users set their standard meal times (being a diabetic, eating at regular intervals is paramount for control.)
- Just started using this app and unlike me and my T1 diabetes it is simply brilliant I have all the cplications of diabetes due to ignorance and really bad sugar control, Im talking daily avg 14's. Not any more thanks to this beauty along with a paid app for carb counting i finally get it.
- I have tried many programs that integrate all these elements but were too unwieldy to use. This one is easy to use, and it makes keeping records a much better task. I lose interest if logging is difficult, and this program keeps me motivated. I urge you to give it a try--you'll love it!
- Wouldn't like to be without this app now as it has kept me on "The straight and narrow path" in controlling my Diabetes. Will be having my annual diabetic review soon and intend showing the diabetic team what it can do. Should be a required app for all diabetic people! Don
- I love this app. I'm 17 and in the 11 years I've had type 1, I never kept on track (lol) until I downloaded this. I love seeing how I'm doing and its made it easier to explain to my docs about my hypos etc too. Just wish you could personalise the theme or colours!
- I've had adult onset type 1 diabetes for ten years and neglected to take care of myself. This app has helped me overcome my laziness and keep me on track. Thank you so much. The app is perfect.
- Superb app. Could use mote features for presenting data graphically or textually in tables, but that's nitpicking, really. 5 stars easy, our 11-year old can use it without help.
