Null Keyboard
A keyboard that does nothing.
Yes, really.
This keyboard is useful if you have an external bluetooth keyboard paired with your phone and you want to stop the on-screen keyboard from popping up all the time.
To use, go in to keyboard settings and enable null keyboard, and then pick it as your input method. No keyboard should appear until you change it back.
NOTE: Samsung galaxy tabs running the latest android have an issue where the keyboard is frequently switched back to the on-screen keyboard. As far as I can tell, a fix for this needs to come from samsung, not from me. Even if it's something I can fix on my end, without a tab to test on, there's no way I'm going to be able to figure out what it is.

- I have a Minix G4 Mini PC "android on a stick" connected to my HDTV and controlled with a wireless keyboard/mouse. This app fixed one of my only major problems with this device, the on screen keyboard that would not go away! THANK YOU! It's not clear by the title that this is an app that removes the on screen display. They also should have included an explanation of how to set it up for the android novices but at least someone else explained it in there review.
- The app is perfect for those using a bluetooth keyboard, and who are being driven crazy everytime the on-screen keyboard pops up when you click in a text field. It also seems to add more PC-like functionality, by including quite a few hotkeys. Text input is flawless, and very quick. Can pretty much transform a tablet with a dock into a small netbook :) enjoy
- All I'm asking for is a keyboard that does nothing and guess what? This does nothing. I see some complaints from other users that this isn't working so well and leaves a black bar. I don't know if they fixed this, but I am running 4.1.1 jb on my tablet and there are no issues. Thank you developers for making nothing a reality.
- In use with an mk808B and the newest Finless 1.7 ROM. Works perfectly. Only minor issue is that you need to completely exit the app you changed your input method in, or you'll get a rectangle over the area where the keyboard would have been. This only happens once though and after that it works perfectly every time.
- This does exactly what I need to do when I have a physical keyboard connected to my tablet. The message about the possibilty of collecting info like passwords and credit card numbers is part of the OS, and this app can't do that because it doesn't have permission to access the Internet.
- I loved this app with my win mobile phone. I always use my Think Outside stowaway keyboard and hate the default keyboard popping up. Thanks for making this for the Android!!!
- This app worked like a charm, now it is so much easier to use the bluetooth keyboard and there is less lag from the on-screen keyboard trying to load as well
