• This app made my transition to a new phone absolutely seamless. Here's what you need to know: > This app will back up and restore all your information ( Contacts, Messages, Pictures, Videos, Call Logs, settings and other app data etc) > Whatsapp chat history needs to be backed up manually. This is simply done by copying the whatsapp folder from your old phone to the new one's directory. > You won't be able to restore to a new phone unless you buy the full version. This is the first app that I've ever paid for and for how effective it is at what it claims to do, it's worth every penny. Although, I do believa android should have the same feature in it for free.
• Well with all the Jelly Bean hype...i just "Had" to see what it was all about....but before I did make the plunge, I found this back up utility. It does EXACTLY as it states. I wanted to keep everything...SMS, MMS, PHOTOS, APPS....So after the the backup and the Jelly Bean update..It went VERY BAD!!!! No WI-FI, NO APPS, actually it was terrible. So I reloaded a fresh ROM, and used this app to restore all my songs, mms, everything..... I feel........COMPLETE.....LOL Thank You Very Much, as they say, you don't appreciate what you have ....... until it's gone........... But with My Back Up Pro......HA! I can get it back!!!
• This was the first app I purchased and would be the last app I would get rid of. Be careful with a full restore, though. When I tried that the app choked on a Google Contacts limit (that may be Google's fault). Apps are backed up in a common file which is not as good as backing them up individually as you can do with certain file managers such as File Expert. Backups, particularly of apps, are getting more important as app developers bring out new versions that are for many users inferior to prior versions. If you are happy with an app, back it up!
• It worked well restoring apps and data from my phone that got run over by a car, to a new phone! Thankfully, apps allowed me to prevent them overwriting the apps I already loaded on the new phone, but I unchecked system settings restoration, because I can't preview what settings they are, and I've already set up my new phone. Also, as my old phone's screen was damaged, I couldn't fully set it up, but I did manage to backup to the micro sd card, using WiFi File Explorer to transfer the backup!
• Wow, I had a question restoring my apps/photos/data from my old Google Nexus S to my new Samsung Galaxy S3. The issue was that my old Nexus did NOT have a removable micro SD card. I brought up the issue with customer support and was literally floored by how fast they responded. Sunday night email, Monday morning response. Follow up question, immediate response. WOW! For an app with so many user...simply impressed with their customer support.
• I installed this when I was switching carriers and phones. I backed up to my sd card on the old phone no prob, but had an error when I tried to recover it on the new phone. After a LIGHTNING fast email response from customer service, found out it was just a path error. I downloaded a file manager, corrected the sd card path, and TA-DA! Restored everything on to the new phone! Panic attack averted! Fabulous!
• This application saves your full inventory of apps (no matter how many) and data (pictures, contacts, etc.) and permits you to re-install EASILY with a replacement or new phone. That would be worth 4 plus stars at least. Its staff though are always concerned, quick with responses, and there for you. That makes it 5 stars, plus. Good App. Good People. Good Purchase. Go for it.
• My phone was on the fritz. Sprint told me it was time for a new one....I tried everything..... Including my last resort Mybackup Pro. Thankfully, it was a great success. And furthermore, I was confused on some things and was forced to email custumer and I was shocked when I got a response back almost immediately. Thank you. Def recommend this app.
• This program saved my phone after doing a factory reset. I was able to get back all of my apps, contacts, etc. I also had a question for the developer and they replied back in 10 minutes, helping me through a small issue I had. I *HIGHLY* recommend this product. A++ both for product, support and service.
• All your backups that you need when changing roms. You know the little things you forget and google just does'nt get right. Like your contacts and such. This app even gets playlists and alarms!! And the service is outstanding.. Email return within minutes.. Gladly paid for this one!! Thanks!!
