My CookBook lets you create your own digital cookbook. This is the only recipe app that allows you to build your own recipe database. You build this database gathering recipes on the web and using the import features.

You are looking for a new recipe ? Use our searching engine to find a new recipe on the web. When you have found one you like, import it into My CookBook. Then you will be able to view it everywhere on your phone or your tablet. You can add your own photo, change ingredients or directions, or add you own comments
You already have a cookbook ? Add a new recipe into My CookBook manually, or import your digital cookbook using one of the file formats we support like Meal Master (.mmf), MasterCook (.mxp), LivingCookBook (.fdx) , ReKconv (.rk)...
You want to share a recipe with your friends ? Publish on Facebook you are cooking a recipe. Or share it with My CookBook to email, sms, and others. You can also send them a “My CookBook” file they will be able to load into their app
My CookBook also include these features :
- Synchronize your recipes on different devices using dropbox
- Create shopping lists using your recipe ingredients
- Scale the ingredients to serve more or less people
- Use the speech feature to read recipes
- Customize various parts of the app such as theme, font size, categories.

- I just got the app an hour ago, but so far it does everything I was hoping it would do when I went searching for a recipe box app. I can add from any site, edit the recipe to my tastes and preferences, categorize it to my custom named categories, create shopping lists and so on! I've been adding recipes that I've bookmarked from the web on my laptop, and so far, I've encountered no glitches whatsoever!
- Sweet app.Imported all my Master Cook recpies flawlessly! I have been looking for an app like this for a long time. Now I can carry my recipes with me every where. Don't see a need to buy the pro, but I think I will just to say thanks to the developer! Can you possibly make it support individual cookbooks instead of just one cookbook with every recipe in it?
- I love this app. Easy to import the recipes I had in my computer. After backing up to drop box I was able to sync back my recipes after a factory reset. Only thing that I wish it had would be for the recipes to be searchable through Google Now's phone search.
- Sorry to say theme still needs a bit more polish, especially the main home screen pls consider holo theme throughout. Still a great app though, every feature I was looking for (+ extras), & easily deserves 5 stars. Many thanks
- Have been using this app for the past week or so. It's easy to use. It's easy to import recipes and easy to add in any if your own. Had other recipe apps in the past, but this is definitely the best i have found so far.
- I have imported almost all the recipes from my online cooks books, so its nice to have them all in one spot rather than spread out over various sites. Also allows me to edit them. My phone : Samsung Ace
- I love this app. The only thing i wish they could do is allow us to make folders for each categories. I saved alot of recipes and it would look neat if i could put them in folders
- No hassle copy pasting the ingredientsg.and directions you just need to go to a site and import whatever recipe u like!
- This app was was made for me.....it's completely compatible with BBC GOOD FOOD and SBS FOOD....... Perfect for me!
