- I've used My-Cast online and as an app for years. This is by far my favorite WX app. On my Droid X it's fast and responsive. I added the lightning plug-in and it works very well. This "classic" app has cool little animated graphics which are nice. It has quick access to your saved weather cities of interest. It's presentation of reports, forecasts, radar, sat. and lightning, etc. is extremely useful to me. I've been very happy with it for a long time. There is a new version, "non-classic" I guess, out there. Yes, I have it too. It a "slick" app that has the same data in a different, updated format. It does have the Push Notification feature (additional charge). My-Cast online is suspending that service (text / email) which is why I opted to buy the new app too. Weather info is very important to me and I highly recommend any of their apps. They work great and I've never had a force close problem with this "classic" edition.
- This weather app has the best content of any out there. It definitely isn't the flashiest, no widget, no customization options, etc. but it's rock solid reliable and quick to load up. I have used this or one of its predecessors on every phone going back to my Nextel flip phones. Does anyone know if this particular version is still being updated, or are they focusing on the "Lite" and other apps now?
- Works fine on HTC incredible no problems although I think I like the setup of the free version better but overall I still give 5 stars just cause I'm a fan of mycast weather
- I have tried several other weather apps and this is the best so far! No problems with location, loading or updating. Temps & forecast are accurate. Most reliable.
- NO!! Please bring back the weather fun!! I used this option all the time! Also could see my brothers and sisters across the country Please reconsider. Thank you.
- I'm an 11 year storm chaser and My cast is the app I use the most. Been using it since 2006. Excellent app! Must have lightning add on but worth it!
- Best mobile weather app out there. Just can't believe they want you to pay for lightning. They shouldn't have gone there. Other than that great app!
- Radar and severe weather map updates far better than weatherbug or weather channel. Would wait over 20 mins on them for alerts at times. Great app.
- Ease of use is just the beginning! Fast simple and I like the auto locate feature, no need to try and pin point a zip or city if you don't know it!
- I have had this app for many years now, long before smartphones. It is the only app I would not want to do without. Great customer service as well.
