  • The service is currently available in more than 55 European metropolitan areas. Urban Guidance is a Live service and therefore requires a data connection.

Note

  • Positioning your smartphone correctly in the vehicle is very important to ensure optimal GPS reception and for your own safety! Ensure that this is always positioned outside of the range of the airbags!
  • NAVIGON is an on-board solution. This means that all map material, voice announcements and system files are saved on the telephone. Therefore no charges or waiting time for data transfer are incurred.
  • The Europe version requires approx. 2GB of free memory. Please ensure you have sufficient available mass-storage space (SD card). The map material must be downloaded after installing the app via wireless Internet on the smartphone. Please ensure a reliable and safe connection is available.
  • On first startup a short data connection (ca. 25kB) is required to register your product

  • Samsung Galaxy S3 mit Android 4.0.4 und die Enttäuschung ist da. Navigon wurde vollständig installiert, gekaufte Zusatzdienste (TrafficCheck, Mobile Alert Live 2012) sind nicht mehr verfügbar (Netzfehler). Support brachte bislang keine Abhilfe. Navigation selbst muss gelegentlich mehrmals gestartet werden... Inakzeptabel. Nachtrag: 03.11.2012, nun funktioniert alles. App rückerstattet und alle InnApps durch Google (dieser Kunderservice ist der Hammer) löschen lassen. Dann erneutem Kauf und NeuiInstallation siehe da, die Software funktioniert. Dennoch, müsste ich hier den Navigon Kundenservice bewerten wären 0 Sterne noch 2 zuviel.
  • Wichtig:Einstellungen öffnen + Anwendungsmanager öffnen + Navigon auswählen + Dort "Daten löschen" ausführen Fertig ! Nun funktioniert der MyMaps Dienst auch wieder :o) Danke an den Kommentar von "Frank"!!! Bitte lest Euch alle Kommentare genau durch... Der Tipp von "Frank" ist sehr sehr hilfreich! Bei mir läuft alles ohne Probleme. Wichtig: die alte Version vorher deinstallieren und das Handy herunter fahren. Die neue Software unbedingt über W-Lan installieren. (Samsung Galaxy S2 ohne Manipulation)
  • Meines Erachtens die bislang beste Navi-App für Android. Sehr gute Routenführung, in Kombination mit "traffic live" optimal. Benötigt zwar einiges an Systemleistung, läuft auf schnellen Androiden aber absolut flüssig und zuverlässig. Die inzwischen implementierte Option "Energy Saver" sorgt bei meinem LG Optimus 4x HD dafür, dass der Akku in den "Ruhephasen" selbst mit schwächeren Kfz-Ladekabeln wieder geladen wird. "My Maps"-Absturz lösbar durch das Löschen des Cache & der Anwendungsdaten.

  • Von mal zu mal besser...läuft super auf meinem Galaxy Tab...Grafik in 3 D (zugebucht) und Auflösung gut..kommt zwar nicht an die PNA Navis.von Navigin ran...aber es ist ein gute, günstige Alternative... Habe schon einige Navigationsangebote hier durch..jedesmal ärgere ich mich über einen Wechsel von Navigon weg...ich bleib bei Navigon, da ich sonst keine keine wirkliche gute Navigationsprodukte hier finde...uns ich nutze dieses Navi beruflich jedwn Tag. TOP.
  • I was very pleased with the software until the last upgrade. Then when I opened the application my entire phone was freezing and I had to take the battery out to reboot. However, Navigon technical support was incredibly helpful and they provided me with an apk to install over the one from the Play store. Now everything is back to normal. For me it is an excellent app and even better for knowing that there are helpful people behind it.
  • ...Well, it DOES work smoothly on ICS Android. It did not want work for me from backed up version (backup was done before upgrading yhe firmware from 2.3.4 to 4.0.3), but after reinstalling there is no problem at all. It starts without any problem, does not freeze and is always ready for work.

  • Been using this for 2 years now and it is by far the best satnav for smartphones. Also the best looking. Lane assist is excellent when driving in big cities! Some of the available in-app purchases should be included for free though.
  • Very handy when you are walking on a trail. Also use it while on my Harley. Gives great grid coordinates. Very easy to use. Those that hate this are ignorant to its uses. Well worth the price!
