Miners 4k

Hi everyone, I recently realized this is like the 10th port of miners 4k to android. Only thing I can say is my version is the most authentic to the original and includes native code so that the amount of miners can be increased to over 1, 000. Thanks.

The goal of Miners is to dig tunnels that lead the Miners to the gold, then back to the starting position again. The miners are simple creatures:

  • Miners will walk straight forward until they hit a wall or get bored.
  • When a miner hits gold, he will pick up a chunk of the gold, but only if he isn't already carrying some gold.
  • If a miner carrying gold enters either starting platform, he will drop the gold there.
  • When a miner faces a steep cliff in front of him, there's a 66% chance he will try to jump over it.
  • After a miner has hit a wall and changed direction, there's a 66% he will jump back in the direction he came from.
  • A miner that falls more than 100 pixels will die.

Miners4k is an entry for the Java 4K [Game] Programming Contest (2006 edition)

  • I dig this game...hahah I never heard of it til' I saw this port, actually for such a simple game, its very very addictive. I am inspired to develop "lighter" and more gameplay centered games now. Five stars all day, but I would want to give you six stars if you could make a "zoom" feature to get closer to the fine details of your tunnels!
  • This game is awesome. So simple, yet so addictive. I've made level 7. Don't see myself beating that level soon because you need 99999 units and only 800 minors. You have 200000 seconds to get the 99999 units mined and delivered to the pad. Saving that for a rainy day. EXCELLENT GAME!
  • At first it is frustrating because it is very hard. But it is adctive, even I cant pass the lvl 3, my wife completed the 7th though!
  • Tough to learn how to tell the dumb miners what to do. Lot's of fun. Can't get level 5 to work on my galaxy tab though.
  • 2 of the stars are because notch made this. 2 Becker's u gave credit and 1 for transferring it to android
  • Best game ever, but nearly impossible to make it pass level 3
  • Good game, Nice to get a game that is not made for profit.
  • So fun band addicting
