Light Flow Lite - LED Control
Light Flow - Lite allows you to take control of your notification LED (if available on your phone) - even including cycling automatically through all the colors of outstanding notifications. If you've come from using BeBuzz / BerryBuzz on Blackberry phones, then give LightFlow a try!

THE FREE VERSION TAKES APPROX 12 FLASHES (20 SECONDS) TO CHANGE COLOR, the paid version can change pretty much every 2.5 seconds.

This program will allow you to control the notification color for

We've now added a backup and restore option so you can backup your settings if trying out new roms or upgrading to the full version.
It'll even push out notifications to your pebble smart watch.
Get your notifications straight to your lockscreen with out DashClock extension built into the app.
It works on non-rooted phones and also allows the colors to flash in succession, so if you have a new SMS and a missed call it can alternate between the two colors. You can also set which notification type has the highest priority and let it flash in just that one color.
Note that it will take over control of your notifications and you will therefore only get notifications for categories that the app allows.
The app requires you to add "accessibility" for "light flow lite" - as this allows better control of the notifications. We do not capture your data, this is just a standard message shown when adding accessibility. If you check out the app permissions the app does not require internet access, so you can rest assured that your data is safe.

Known issues/Limitations

Samsung phones when using accessibility may start to talk to you or disable certain features. The app will run without accessibility (with a more limited notification list) and samsung have acknowledged the issue and have a fix coming.
Not all phones support all colors.
The LED functionality does not work on most LG phones (except the nexus 4).
HTC Nexus One supports all colors, Motorola phones support most colors.
Most HTC phones support 3 colors, but ROOT is required and direct mode must be selected in the app
This is due to hardware limitations within the devices.
Some phones can only light up the notification while the screen is off.
Some phones cannot have their notification light always on
Some phones cannot have their notification blink and it will always be on

- Coming from several BlackBerry devices, my first Androids -needs- this app. The added functionality to LEDs and notifications offers that level of control that no device today seems capable of out of the box. Not only does it give you control over the LEDs, how they flash, when they flash, what color, and more...but it also gives you complete control over the sounds and vibration in the same manner...including repeating notifications that continue to remind you until you check them or after a specified amount of time. Huge props to the developer who went WAY out of his way to support the USA Galaxy S3. Samsung messed up the LED APIs and caused this app not to work properly for the USA variant. The dev, who lives in Europe, bought a USA device and updated us daily on the progress of his "fixing" the app. I understand it's still not perfect for unrooted devices...but it works. I rooted my S3, which was easy and straightforward, and I am totally happy with Light Flow and just bought the paid version to give my support!
- I've been using the free version on my rooted S3 for about 3 weeks. For the most part it has been working fine, but every so often it misses a Gmail notification, and the blinking Blue LED appears instead of the solid green I have selected. I do note the developer's blog indicates he's having some trouble with the US version of the S3 (mine, on Verizon) and the Blue light (and other color issues), which hopefully he will solve soon. For now I plan to keep the app, and may eventually upgrade to the paid version. I especially like the fact that I can set a "sleep time" to turn the LED off entirely at night during bedtime hours.
- I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3 on 4.1.1 running LightFlow flawlessly. I know there's a bug with talkback that goes "folder open/folder close" when opening a folder. The bug is still here on 4.1.1 and latest version of Light Flow. Here's a fix that worked for me 1. MUST BE ROOTED AND HAVE TITANIUMBACKUP INSTALLED 2. After installing LightFlow, open up titanium backup 3. Search for "TTS". In the results, uninstall both Google TTS and Samsung TTS 4. This stops the bug and does not have side effects. ENJOY!
- It definitely works in S3. Colors are fine. No green light either. Not sure about all the battery drain comments, I don't notice anything like that. The open folder thing bothered me. If you use a replacement launcher (I use Nova), you won't get the folder announcement.
- Love this. No more missed texts or emails. Works very well on my Huawei phone. User friendly and easy to set up which is a plus for me. Am going to get the paid app because it works so well. Keep up the good work on this super little app.
- My one complaint about the Galaxy Nexus was that it didn't have a notification led. This app works like it came with the phone. Assuming everything still works in a couple of days, I'll definitely buy the full version.
- I know others have had many problems with this app. But it works perfectly on my phone and its a Samsung Galaxy S3. Maybe their phone isn't rooted. It actually even extends my battery life big time, I really like it.
- I have had this on my nexus s for almost a week and I am yet to find problems. Finally I know exactly what each colour means! I will buy the full version if I don't run into any problems in the near future.
- Thanks! Allowed me to shut off the blinking green spotlight that sony calls a notification light. Many, many, thanks! Now I can sleep through the night even if I get a new email.
- Good LED control's software, though a bit complicated at first. Played around a bit and gotten it figured out. I own a mercury M886, incredibly it has all the LED color mix.
