- When I installed my Amazon App it was the first time I actually went and explored the site. If you want great reading material this is the app you want. They have the top books, novels, storys for anyone of any age to read. The best part is that some of the best sellers can be downloaded for free! I love my Amazon! Reading isn't the only thing they have. It is, in my opinion, the #1 place to go for just about anything you want and you don't actually have to have a kindle to download from the kindle store. You can have just about any tablet or smartphone and they will direct you to the right app for your device. There is only one thing that I do have a problem with and is the only thing that I have noticed others having a problem with and that is the app for the appstore. After downloading it tends to freeze up when you open the app causing you to uninstall and reinstalling it. Once Amazon fixes this I do not think there will be any serious problems from anything they offer from their site. I happily give 5stars!
- I love the new Kindle app. Love carousel for new books and you CAN still view books in list option too. Love having recommendations for me. All works great on Nexus 7. Only 1real negative, shopping from Kindle app doesn't offer the same options to narrow down search's as you get shopping Amazon direct. Finally PLEASE make it perfect by adding bookshelves for displaying different categories and adding realistic page turning like on Google books. This would make the reading experience FABULOUS :-)
- It is a fantastic version of the Kindle idea. How this has remained free for android I cannot understand. Easy to use and navigate through. I highly recommend this to anyone who has an android device and its currently thinking of purchasing a kindle.. save yourself the money and download this app. Links to reccommended reads, samples of books available to download for free before committing to a purchase. The ability to view the Kindle store via the app is a nice addition. 10 / 10.
- Update fixes the crash on Galaxy S3 and Note 10.1. Thank you Devs for very quick response and fix. Can't ask for more than that. The App is back to the very good reader it was and works fine. As you are on a roll, is it possible to have a 'create folder' option on Android same as on the Mac version so as to group my library by author/genre etc. 5 star product though.
- Excellent reader app. I own a Kindle Fire HD as well as a Note 2 and it is flawless in the syncing between the two devices, thanks to this app on my Note 2. Personally, I prefer this over Barnes & Noble's Nook (which I used for about a year) - the response is smoother and capabilities much more robust (and far less limited in scope).
- Just went to start reading my latest book and found out that there had been an update. Wow! So much better with the carousel layout and the recommendations across the bottom, means I don't have to go searching for the next in a series. Well done devs keep up the good work. On Nexus 10

- I love it! Could not live without it now. I do like the bookshelves idea. My fav thing is bring able to get all my books on all my devices no problem. Plus it synces it across all of them so I know where I was at last. Thank u Amazon (btw love u guys too)
- I need my Android Kindle back. tried to email dev's but the email was bounced back, un installed, cleaned the cache & shut down and rebooted but no luck with getting it to run just closes on start up, please fix, OS: 4.1.1 Device: Ainol 7 venus
- When are you going to fix the highlighting problem where you can only highlight once then won't let you do it again unless you close the book then reopen it. It needs fixing please.... Samsung gs3 and Motorola Xoom late....
