  • I use it for a journal keeping. Can't say it enough - This app is awesome! :) It's clean, it's useful, no bullshit, no useless decoration - really! why make an app look like it's a real page, but make it smaller than the screen's real-estate?! it's a computer screen! not a notebook! Now I'm trying on the new and improved Jota+, and It is just getting better. :) And by the way, I use RTL language, and it works great! (Samsung Galaxy Note + Ubuntu).
  • This amazing easy to use tool has everything I could want in text editor. Copying paged from the web or documents into this is a doddle and editing it the bits you don't want is equally easy. I can use search and replace to get rid of odd characters that readboox can't read properly before listening to them with ivona natural speech. If there were 6 stars I would award them. The fact it is free is a huge bonus. Off to look for a donate button!
  • Much nicer to write with than the full word processors for Android that I've tried, because much more responsive - and the support for dictation makes it better than other plain text editors. Be nice to have slightly more hardware keyboard support - e.g. ctrl + cursor key movement to next/previous word, and function keys as well as ctrl + letter keys available as customisable short cuts.
  • Brill app, full featured, fast, stable. Samsung's S Notes app limits to a page, but Jota goes on and on. Has lots of features, help & web links but explore the Preferences option to find those. I'm using it on my S/Note. Jota works fine with S pen too.
  • First rate, esp with its desktop-like menu organized with familiar File, Edit, etc. Has the type of access you'd expect from a desktop environment. Developer is excellent at updating & improving this app.
  • This is a really nice, smooth functioning app. Easy to use and integrates well with browsing. I use it a lot. Update: now supports external fonts!? even .otf! freaking awesome!
  • I wanted a simple text editor that didn't require me to send notes to a cloud or have all the bells and whistles that I don't use. Jota was the answer. No ads = extra stars!
  • I've tried 5 or 6 different text editors on my HTC Wildfire S, but this is by far the most rich in features and least prone to crash (Force Close). Thank you!
  • Excellent text editor. Love how it handles different encodings. ...pronounced "i-o-ta", but how do you pronounce i-o-ta?
