Habit Streak has two key advances on Jerry Seinfeld's original technique. Firstly it allows you to build several chains up at once. Secondly it (optionally) prompts you every day to report on your success (whereas one could easily forget to update or look at a physical calendar).

The Pro version has rebuilt several elements of the application from the ground up to enable new features.
It includes import (from either Habit Streak or Habit Streak Pro).
It features improved layouts (and a reduced install size).
The correction mode is now much more powerful, giving you a fine level of control over habits (particularly useful if you are moving from another habit tracking system and want to import your progress so far).
The habit view features a new past streak graph (once you enough past streaks for this to be useful, if you have a small number of recorded streaks then the graph does not appear).
You can add a widget or two to your homescreen to track your best or worst habit (mainly to remind you about your habits in general).

- This app was a life changer for me. My only complaint (more of a suggestion really) is the graph feature. In my opinion it's completely useless. I would instead prefer a calender that shows my streaks for a habit.
- Not only is this app extreamly helpful for understanding and modifying your behavior, its also very nice to look at. Just remember you will only get out of it what you put into it.
- The only feature I wish this app has is the ability to denote something as 3x/week (for example) and over a period of seven days, if done 3x, it was successful.
- I'm not 100% there yet, but this little app reminds me the times I avoid smoking for a full day. I'll get there and finally quit this bad habit.
- Very useful app, like a working conscience. Would like to add daily notes to habits n how I did with them, to observe patterns.
- only been using a day and I'm already more aware of the bad habits and actively choosing to add new positive habits.
- This program is my constant reminder that I shall have to be accountable in the morning ... it works for me.
- The app is simple to use and effective. The UI is utilitarian and not all cluttered with useless bling.
- I would suggest having a habit be weekly or every second day. just to accommodate other jobs.
