Great Clips Online Check-in
This app saves you time! Busy? Ahead of time, use it to add your name to the list at your local Great Clips salon. How does it save you time? When you’re on the list, chances are you’ll be next as soon as you arrive.
How does it work? It’s easy – just open the app and the salons nearest your current location will appear. Touch the salon that has the estimated wait time that fits you best, then tell us your name, number and how many are in your group. Then, head right over to your Great Clips salon to receive the quality haircut or service you want. Download this app and you’ve made getting a great haircut even easier.

- 3. Be sure to let the stylists know that you checked in online.. we are not psychic! When you walk in, say "hi, I'm whoever and I checked in online".. let them know what you would like to have done and if you want anyone in particular. Then you will officially be checked in and you will know how long you have to wait IF you have to.. the online checkin simply HOLDS your spot.. once you name is at the top of the list, it stays there for abt an hour before it blacks you out if you're not there.
- What you people don't realize is yes it does say the wait time, but what you also don't realize is that if you aren't there in that time we take the next customer we aren't going to make people wait for you to get there, and on average it takes each stylist 10-15 minutes to do a haircut, give us a break, try doing our job, you say how hard can it be to cut hair, but please do my job for day, thanks
- This is the best app ever. Not only is this convenient for our customers. But, it is also convenient for us as a great company to see if we are needing to pull more stylists in to be able to service you as our loyal clients in a timely manner. - I used this app to check in on my phone, and it said I had a 2 minute wait so I drove down to the store. When I got there my name was on the little TV screen that said it was next in line. I walked pretty much straight in through the front door and sat down in 1 of the chairs and got a haircut. All and all I'm pretty happy with the application and I would recommend it.
- I'm a hairstylist at Great Clips. The reason why you can't request a certain stylist is because it doesn't know the employees schedules. Say an employee is late for work or can't come in that day they are scheduled. Then it would be a mess for the customers trying to getvin with that certain stylist. I love the online check in. It is absolutely awesome.
- That the wait time given is an estimate. The stylists are human and not robots, so you need to keep.that in mind . I.appreciate the stylist taking a few extra minutes on my hair if needed, and I'm sure that extends the estimated wait time even if u check in online. Give the human factor some grace and it will work for you too.
- Please understand this is not an appointment app its simply to add your name to a list if your not there they need to move on we always try to staff enough people so you don't wait longer then 15 min. Our customers are always in our best interests and we look forward to serving you all in a timely manner.
- Used this app for the first time today and worked well. Stylists even.asked of I checked in on line. My wait was minimal. To the others that gave it fewer stars, keep in mind you are not the only one using the app. There were at least 5 other customers that had used it to. Will use again.
- This app is awesome! The only thing I ask is that you add a notes section where we can ask for a specific person. Either that or a drop down box with the stylist names in it to choose from.
- I've been using this since it was released! It is simply AWESOME! I don't have to wait! Love to see people's faces when my name gets called before theirs! haha!
