Getting to know different cultures is not easy when you don't know the language. Currently Europeist lets you pick from english, french, german, italian, polish, spanish, and ukrainian.
Spaced repetition - Boost your memory
The rule is simple: what you learn should stay inside your head. Europeist uses a custom spaced repetition learning system that was inspired by methods developed by Paul Pimsleur and Sebastian Leitner.
Forget me not - Automatic reminders
Europeist will track your progress and remind you if you need to repeat some foreign words. It will help you to keep your knowledge fresh and ready to use.
Native speakers - Not machines
Europeist does not use speech synthesis engine. The everyday speech is just too different from an artificial system. That's why you get only native speakers with native accent and speed.
Better flashcards - Intelligent planning
The flashcard system has proven to give good results for language learners. Europeist builds on that system, providing easy to use interface, and extending it through spaced repetiton system.
Steady pace - Don't rush but advance
Europeist lets you learn in your own pace, anytime you want to learn. Have a few minutes while riding a bus? A perfect moment to repeat a few words!

- I am writing this as the author of Europeist. I really hope you will like the application at least as much as I do. The application itself is simple and easy to use. Currently it is mainly for beginners, but I believe it has a great potential. It is better than other language learning software, in a way that it requires you to really think about the answer. Furthermore, it has got a really nice algorithm for scheduling next repetitions. What I also really like is the "scratch to get a hint" feature. When learning a foreign language, we often find ourselves in a situation when we have a word on the tip of the tongue. In that case we can just make a scratch gesture, and the answer will reveal itself slowly. Please try it yourself and tell me what you think, so I can improve it. If it crashes, please send a report.
