- I've been through a lot of paid and free players with a particular set of requirements; synching to multiple devices (importantly including deletions) as well as my desktop(s); a sane naming / directory structure for downloaded files; Bluetooth headset support; basic playlist support. The player is basic, long lists are slow, and I'd like subdirs per podcast for downloads. But still, for me, 5 stars

- If you just want to download some podcasts and listen to them later, this is the best one I've found. The web site makes it easy to do from your computer and the interface of the app actually makes some sense. This is the only player that doesn't make my wife upset as I try to walk her through it while driving.

- When combined with the web app, DriveCast is the simplest of all of the category. It seems like the only podcaster able to login to password-protected podcast feeds. The new design was much-needed and clean and the support is top-notch!
