  • This app worked great even after the update but as I got into ics I ended up selecting "don't keep activities" which is under developer options, in hopes to save battery life. When I first went back to watch TV several weeks later I couldn't. Everything worked with the app except watching TV. After two weeks of frustration I finally remembered that setting and took it off and that fixed the problem. Finally back to being a great app and the reason dish is no.1
  • I love having control of my dish controller in the palm of my hand. Having access to it over my phone is the greatest thing ever. I create and cancel recordings worry free from where ever I'm at. I can't imagine not having this now that I use it all the time! It's even a fun joke to play on my 11 year old daughter because when she's watching a show I'll switch channels and she just doesn't know what's happening!!! :-D
  • I have a dish 922 dvr which has sling built into it. Using my galaxy S2, I can view everything that is on my dvr, including any live channels I subscribe to. I can even control the dvr timers with this app! Will be 5 star satisfied when I am able to see all of my timers. dvr shows 32, this app only shows 18. Update: timers are syned. 5 stars. Appears that some timers on my dvr were deleted without my knowledge.
  • Love this app. When visiting the in-laws, it's next to impossible to watch a full episode of anything due to my remote-happy father-in-law who will not stay on one channel for 5 consecutive minutes. Now I can just plug in some headphones and enjoy my programming from miles away. Thanks Dish Network. This app totally saves the day!
  • You buy a smart phone and after awhile you don't know whether you own it or it owns you. This app justifies the expense of the phone and the at home entertainment package. It isn't as good as the big screen but sure beats trying to mount it in my car or doctor waiting room. I wish I'd had for college football.
  • My hat is off to Dish for this app. One of the reasons I am so loyal to Dish is their leading edge technology and people. To be able to access live programming or my DVR recordings while traveling is amazing. Using the Hopper with sling adapter and a new Nexus 10. Great job Dish!
  • I love this app. For my job I am always on the go. So it is nice to always be able to not miss my programming. Motel rooms have really poor channel selection so whether it is on my phone or tablet Iam always watching my favorite channel or recordings in DVR. RECOMMENDED !!!!
  • This is the greatest app around. If you are looking to watch your satellite while you are out and about this is your setup. It is very easy you hook one thing up to your box, download the app, and there you go. Enjoy
  • I am so pleased with this app.it's a life saver. Now that I have got the sling adapter I am in heaven. I have had no problems with this app at all... Only problems have been at my and with a poor wifi signal.
  • Just got my Hopper installed this evening and watching Dish on my Razr Maxx with no problems tonight. Love it! Should've dumped my Time Warner service a long time ago.
