Diktofon helps you to record voice memos, interviews, press conferences, lectures etc., and offers the powerful tool of speech recognition to make your recordings accessible as written texts.

Diktofon uses an online Estonian speech-to-text service to transcribe the recordings. Many of Diktofon's features are thus specific to recordings of Estonian speech. These features include:

• Search recordings by keywords
• Sort recordings by the number of words and speakers
• Read & Listen: click on a transcription paragraph to playback the corresponding audio
• Share transcriptions (e.g. via email, Twitter, ...)

Other features are general and make Diktofon useful also if you are not recording native Estonian speech:

• Tag recordings and search them by tag
• Sort recordings by creation date, duration, byte size
