Dictionary for 51 language combinations, usable without an internet connection (offline dictionary). Vocabularies can be downloaded and updated within the app for free.

Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Esperanto, Finnish, French, Greek, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Latin, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish
New translations and corrections can be suggested at
http://contribute.dict.cc/
. Every translation gets checked by several other contributing users. The downloadable vocabularies are updated daily.
Important: Devices with a modified operating system (jailbreaks, mods, root rights) are not supported!
If the app closes without an error message, please disable the developer options in your Android settings.

- Habe schon ziemlich alles was es an Deutsch - Englisch Wörterbücher gibt ausprobiert, darunter einige kostenpflichtige, und jetzt hab ich nur eins auf dem Handy: dieses hier! Es ist Leo-ähnlich, aber ich finde es sogar besser da weniger (kaum) unsinnige,schlichtweg falsche Vorschläge gegeben werden. Redewendungen werden auch hier übersetzt und ich finde die Ergebnisse echt zuverlässig (bin Englisch Muttersprachler). Läuft übrigens einwandfrei unter ICS/JB!
- Ich habe aber ein ein paar Kritik-Punkte. 1) Es wäre gut, wenn der Übersetzer schneller starten würde. Mein Auslandsaufenthalt steht zwar noch an, ich weiß aber nicht, wie praktikabel es sein wird, wenn ich immer erst ein paar Sekunden warten muss, bis ich die App benutzen kann. Bei meinem letzten Auslandsaufenthalt habe ich einen Translator benutzt, der war direkt an nachdem man auf "On" gedrückt hat betriebsbereit.
- Die Übersetzungen von dict.cc gehören mit zu den Besten und in Kombination mit der Möglichkeit ganze Sprachpakete für den Offline-Betrieb herunterzuladen, ist diese App einfach unschlagbar.
- Wirklich sehr gutes Wörterbuch. SUPER EMPFEHLENSWERT. Schön wären grössere Menüpunkte bei Tabletnutzung oder konfigurierbare Schriftgröße. Am Handy aber fast perfekt...
- Sehr umfangreicher Wortschatz in Englisch, andere Sprachen dünner. Jeder darf den Wortschatz ergänzen. Fehlt nur noch ein Fremdwörterbuch und Lernfunktion!
- So viele Downloads der Gratis Version, und so wenige sind bereit ein Bier zu spendieren für dieses großartige Offline Wörterbuch. Kaufen, Leude, kaufen!!
- A must have dict. First one ever with the most completed dict. U wont regret it!! I use it for galaxy note. Perfectly functioned. Superb
- Echt, ich hatte wirklich schon alle Wörterbücher ausprobiert, und das hier ist sein Geld absolut wert. Weiter so! :-)
