Compass and Timer
Compass and Timer Android app for marine use. Sea Compass Racer has the ability to take and store up to ten bearings and display them around the compass. It can be used to take closing bearing to other boats for collision avoidance, or for making a three bearing fix.
This app can also be used in non marine environments, where you would use a compass to take bearings to targets, and time between readings.
Lock heading feature to help you stick to a bearing. It will show if you have deviated from the locked heading.
Speed over ground (SOG) and Course over ground (COG) are displayed around the compass, by using the devices GPS. The variation between True and Magnetic headings is automatically calculated for your current location using the GPS.
The app also has a countdown timer and stop watch function to help in yacht racing. The timer has a synchronize function to drop the time down to the nearest minute as well as a split time function to record times during a yacht race.
