- I own a quad core transformer prime with android 4. This app runs very smooth, though i could understand how this app could be slow on other tablets considering all of the content it loads. It is definitely worth trying out. This is my favorite news app. My only complaint is i think cnn should allocate more bandwidth to allow for higher quality streaming hd. If you have a high performance tablet i think you will really appreciate this app. Thanks cnn!
- Originally I was looking for the CNN app/widget on my old school Droid froyo and came upon this. After seeing the low ratings and reviews, I had to try it myself. Runs flawlessly on the Acer running ICS. Beautiful interface. Videos play with no interruption. Over really nice app. Much better than the froyo version. Highly recommend. Not sure what the problems are on other devices.
- I tried this app and it works amazing on Motorola XOOM running 3.2. Amazing images, great videos and the notifications that you receive on breaking news are great. The only reason I uninstalled it is because I live in canada. If I was american this would for sure be on my home page
- Awesome app. I don't know why you guys keep complaining. This is a great example of good design. This is how all the android tablet apps should be designed
- Love the layout and all the video clips. Most of the others just have articles with not that many video clips. This one has tons of video clips.
- I really like this app. It appears to be a game changer for the news outlets. Works great on my Xoom 4.0. Very visually oriented.
- Decided to reinstall and am glad I did. Seems to be fixed and haven't experienced any crashes. Love the layout. I'm very pleased.
- On asus infinity and performance is perfect. I initially uninstalled this app because of force closes. Now everything is great.
- I don't know why people saying it keep crashing, I have no issue whatsoever , maybe system spec makes a difference?
- This app too good not to have running well.....its been far to buggy lately! Help:-)
