ClockSaver
ClockSaver trasform your Android device in a modern desk clock with a lot of indicators, features and a minimal design. It was studied for lowest battery drain, when the app starts it reduce automatically the brightness to the lowest value.
Personalize easily your clock by tapping an indicator to show/hide it, long press to open own application. Hide an indicator will stop also his activity for a better battery life!
This is a early release a lot of feature will come in future!
NOTE: It need to read the message because it show the unread message and internet access to download weather forecast.

- This is very close to what I am looking for. great app. nice an simple. it's missing a few features to truly make it my replacement deskclock. ----auto launch when docked (like the standard deskclock/set as default deskclock)--- ----missed calls icon--- ----dimmer functions (continue using system setting for brightnes, but with a button to dim the screen and/ or an auto dimmer, like the normal deskclock)--- ---optional timeout (to prevent LCD burn-in, a screensaver mode: a small clock moving around a black background with missed calls/texts icon, like you have on DVD players) this would be an instant buy if it were available. (this screensaver mode is built into the normal deskclock, but without the missed texts/calls icon, which is really what I am looking for.--- ---customizable layout (maybe different fonts size of text etc)---

- Really liked the large size numbers & dimming option. Took a few tries to get the settings to change but it could have been my system.
