Call Announcer

Call Announcer provides an audible caller id for your Android phone. Utilizing your contact list and Google’s Text to Speech (TTS) capabilities, all incoming calls are announced alone or over your current ring tone. Incoming SMS messages can also be announced and Read. All announcements are fully customizable.

This application does not announce calls over Bluetooth devices. Buying the license for the application will not enable that functionality.

Text messages can be announced over some Bluetooth devices. Try the free version to see if it works with your device.

  • Does exactly what I want and does it very well. Fully configurable and appears to be regularly updated. Paid for the license even though I don't need the extra features because the developer deserves it.
  • This helps me out alot because it tells me whose calling as well as texting me, even when I'm busy, or just tuckered out. everyone that here's my phone talking ends up getting this as well.
