If you are afraid of breaking your hardware keys or you have broken keys or you simply just don't have any key on your device, get Button Savior to make your life easier.
This app will display a floating software key panel which can be summoned everywhere anytime. Button Savior 1.1.6 or later now suppports E-INK display with specially made themes provided by XDA member Berlinski.
For non root user: You can still use power off, Home, Camera, Call , and volume keys or you can get Button Savior non root if you are running Jelly Bean or newer.

- The app is great here are the issues and bugs 1. Biggest issue Theres a screen glitch when useing the swipe screen mode to make the icons appear using 4.2 on my nexus 7 2. Needs an option to inlarge the icons not just the tab 3.changing icon colors would be great at least fix the glitch with swipe and ill rate it a 5 I paid for the app and the swipe option is why I chose it over virtual buttons app which has a few options yours doesn't. Update he fixed it and added the options Amazing 5 stars can't be touched
- Well written app, does what it is supposed to do extremely well. It is a pity when hardware buttons wear out, that there is no way to create a dedicated area of the screen for these soft buttons at the bottom and therefore shift everything else upward, but I assume there is a ROM with that functionality. But for stock, This program is a Fantastic solution.
- Back key is not working in my mobile. I got frustrated and Planning to buy a new mobile. Atlast i found this app and installed. Great results. Now i haue back key interface in displax itself. I saved 10k in buying a new mobile. Tons of thanks to the app developer. I bought pro version and realised even powerful. Hence 5 stars.
- The title says it all. Everyone has there own reasons why they need on screen, touch buttons, instead of the hard buttons. So downloaded, and when some buttons were not working. The Dev replayed to my email in less than 5 mins. With the info to fix. Now that's customer support!

- Not only is this app awesome but the dev responded to a Q I had at 1 in the morning. You dont get any better than that. If you own a Note or Note 2 this is your app of the month!! I cant believe its so cheap. 2 bucks for the pro version. Man what a deal.
- I thought my sons Orange San Francisco was toast as the menu and back buttons had failed. Stripped phone down and couldn't fix the electronics. Then stumbled across this app. Works fantastically. Dad & son both chuffed. Worth the £1.25 for PRO version too.
- 6 stars if I could. Everything works including show keyboard when you hold down the virtual menu button. Tons of customizations including persistent toggle until you click outside the button bar. I love this! Worth much more than the price paid.
- I am using Galaxy 3 GT-i5801 and my menu key and back key (soft key) stopped working completely ... screw Samsung ... with this app I can use my phone without need to repair it (which will cost at least 400-500 Rupees ) ... thanks
- If you read the description it clearly says your phone must be ROOTED in order to use all the buttons. People are complaining the back button doesn't work for them. It seems your literacy skills don't work for you either. Good app
