- I was NOT using version 5.06. I was reinstalling version 3.54, which, up until recently, you wouldn't leave alone. You kept forcing upgrades on me, sometimes twice a day, which forced me to keep reinstalling 3.54. This was despite the fact that I had repeatedly unchecked the "Allow automatic updates" box! I didn't like the look of the new themes, and I was plenty angry at you folks for repeatedly meddling with what I had paid for, installed, configured and liked. I used Titanium Backup to detach the app from the Android Market and even that didn't work. O.K. - now I've recently tried 5.07, found a theme that comes close to what I had before and I'm fairly satisfied with the result. The crashing has stopped, the flashing on my screen when unlocking my phone has stopped. But really - installing the new version demands more fiddling around and configuring - my old 'skin' apparently does not directly translate to a new 'theme', and even though my weather widget was set for Fahrenheit, the new one assumes Celsius. As upgrades go, you folks made this one painfully difficult for a lot of your users. However, I'll give you back your 5 stars now that most of the 'dust' has settled.
- As stated earlier, I have returned the 5 Star rating. It took some time to get all the bugs worked out, but glad you did. Last to come on line was the working clock widget. The time didn't update so I tried the default clock setting for that widget and it worked but was not pretty. Then today I tried my personal setting and behold, BW is back to its glory.
- was a beautiful app but i updated it 10 days back and since today it is showing msgs like ' this beta of beautiful widget has ended. please uninstall me.' the devs should erase out most of the bugs before such a major facelift. i hope that the latest update of 29 dec fixes my issue. UPDATE:- fixed and working gr8. thanx devs. mindblowing facelift. WOW.
- I've been using Beautiful Widget ever since my Galaxy S2, then Galaxy Note, and now Galaxy S3 and all I want to say is THIS IS THE S**T! I hesitated to update at first since there are negative comments about the latest update, but then I thought "what the hell, I'll give it a shot" Now I must say this is great and as the name says it's BEAUTIFUL! :D
- I downloaded this a while ago, to replace the default apps that come with HTC Sense (not a huge fan of the flip clock). Have to admit, I'm impressed. Not only is it better than stock Sense widgets, but the sheer amount of customization really allows for a unique widgets to match your theme and personality on your home screen. Keep up the great work!
- I just want to say I've used BW off and on for a long time but the most recent version is your best yet. The amount of customizations and things available are nuts and it really has some gorgeous UI elements. Goes well with JB. Thanks for taking so much care with your app. I actually prefer this over HTC senses offering. Kudos!
- 5 Stars for innovation and excellent fit and finish. Sure it got off to a shakey start but it was fixed quickly. It will be all good. I'm sticking with them. Thanks guys for your hard work. 8*). I love this app. Please keep up the great work you are doing and ignore the whiners.
- Really cool and beautiful. And their support is top notch. When I couldn't find the setting for Date Format their support helped me out right away! I love all their Themes! You can style your battery icon to look like a beer that is getting drank, how cool is that?
- I feel terrible for this developer! After programming a slick new version people have been marking it down for minor transition pains. I've had no bugs at all, and think the app is better than ever! Keep up the awesome work!
- I really love this app. It's really awesome, especially with the redesign but I have one request. I wish you could change the weather icon in the notification shade like you can change the a widget's skin.
