Barcode Scanner
Scan barcodes on products then look up prices and reviews. You can also scan Data Matrix and QR Codes containing URLs, contact info, etc.
Also share your contacts, apps, and bookmarks via QR Code. This is why contacts permissions are needed. See FAQ below.

- Läuft bestens unter Android 4.0.3 sowohl auf dem ASUS Transformation als auch HTC Sensation XE. Die Erkennungszeit beträgt max. 1/4 Sekunde sobald ein Barcode komplett im Sucherfenster ist. Die Zuweisung vom Code, zum eigentlichen Inhalt setzt eine Internetverbindung voraus. Die meisten Codes werden dann richtig entschlüsselt. Kurz gesagt: schlicht, schnell und mit sehr hoher Erkennung. Viel besser geht es nicht!
- Stopped working with a recent update. UPDATE October 5, 2012 APP update of 10/02/12 seems to have brought it back to life. Giving it 5 stars again. Advantages over QR Droid: it takes one sixth of space and is movable to SD card. Really works quickly, even from SD card.
- Ich war mit der App immer super zufrieden. Leider funktioniert seit Version 4.3 auf meinem Samsung Galaxy S2 der Autofokus nicht mehr. Die App bekommt die Codes nicht mehr scharf! Ein Downgrade auf 4.2 "behebt" das Problem und alles funktioniert wieder tadellos.
- Just installed & tried it on a couple of books including two that I thought to be somewhat obscure. Got near instant results, even in relatively low-light. It looking like it's going to be a good app for me. .
- It just works! Fairly simple, without bells and whistles, but who want to sacrifice good functionality for extras who's utility is questionable. Tried a similar app these days, just to come back to this one.
- This app is just soo awesome... it takes hardly a second to identify product frm bar or qr code...i had tried reading codes frm other softwares but they all proved to be crap.. this one is outstanding..
- The volume controls are a great way to turn off and on the light for seeing barcodes in darker areas!! Very good at scanning all types of barcodes. Keep up the great work at keeping this free!!
- Um mal kurz einen Barcode oder QR Code zu scannen optimal: Es zeigt den Inhlat schnell an und verweist bei Bedarf auf einen Browser. Auch schief gelesene Codes sind kein Problem.
- does what it says in description of program it works on samsung 10.1 tablet it works great i test it with barcodes i looked up on net took me there sites easy to use
- Was ich aber nicht verstehe warum ich jedes mal wenn ich raus und wieder rein gehe von vorne anfangen muss!!!! Kann man irgendwo abspeichern??? Bitte um Antwort....
