Audubon Birds - A Field Guide
Audubon Birds now includes associated field marks for over 819 birds with more to be added in future updates. Forty-nine new species, (including 18 free flying parrots and parakeets and new vagrants now regularly seen in North America), have been added to the app.

- I am a field technician doing bird surveys and I find this app incredibly helpful when I'm in the field and get stumped with a call but have no one to ask. The pictures and range maps are really great, too. However, I did have a hard time downloading it. After I paid for the app, I was unable to install it for a week. Once it gave me the option of installing everything worked fine. Definitely worth your money! Download all the content so it works when you're out of internet service!
- As one who loves birds yet didn't have time till recently to devote...this is awesome! I grew up with the paper bird book and this really blows that away. I love having all the recordings at my finger tips. That has helped me alot in identifying some birds that I could hear more than I could see and I found out some sounds I had associated with the wrong birds. Thanks again! Lets see a frog app now!
- Really like this app & so far it has been rock solid & stable on my HTC DHD. It installed itself to the SD card too. Some very nice features. Sound quality of bird calls seems to be better quality & louder than iBird Pro which I also own. But I haven't tried them all. Nice to have options to use either app. Updating the database was easy on my slower internet connection, as was registration.
- Performs very well on my Acer Iconia with ICS -- installed fairly quickly, and seems fairly stable on my platform. Feature set is fantastic: looking up birds is fast and easy; many above-average quality pictures; good collection of birdsongs; eBird is fun to poke around with; and lots of good info and range maps in this package. Really excellent, useful application!
- This is a great field guide, and the logging features are excellent. However, the app force closes often. This, along with the lack of features available on ios, keeps this at a 3 star app for now... Update: FINALLY! an app that shows bird sightings from ebird! Thank you so much! Five stars for that feature alone!

- Only works on wifi for motorola photon phone. So I downloaded the entire guide to my phone. About 500 mb. Works great! I played a cardinal call outside and had 2 of them fly down almost immediately. Now I can talk to birds, wow!
- I think it's the best $10 I ever spent. I love ask the pics, the range, the calls, that I can make life lists and u love the ebird feature especially.
- Doesn't disappoint. Most unique feature is bird calls and songs you can bring right to the field where you need them.No booklet can do this.
- Working fine on my GS 2. High quality pictures,and the recordings are really clear.Well done imo.
