- There are hundreds of task management apps and programs out there. The bad ones are usually nothing more than a notepad in fancy clothes. With a few notable exceptions, the popular ones tend to be much more complex - A LOT more complex. While I appreciate the complexity and sophistication of some of the top task managing services out there like Astrid, I have also found that complexity gets in the way of me actually doing the tasks. I end up spending hours every week obsessing over the state of my tasks and events. So I want simplicity, but something more than is offered by the glorified notepad... Any.Do has really struck a near-perfect balance. It allows multiple ways to sort, parse and view your tasks - it even allows for subtasks (which is great for those of us who like to take on ambitious projects). In the end, however, any.do maintains a since of purity that really resonates with me. Any.Do is by far the best task manager I have ever used. The UI is immaculate and it's cross-platform support of google tasks, Chrome, HTML5 (coming soon!) and iOS make it excellent. Throw the ability to recruit others to help you and you've got a real winner!
- Astrid is becoming bloated and hard to navigate. I started using Any.do when it first came out and since then it has been amazing. It's easy to use and filled with the features you need in a task manager. My only beef with this thing is that it jumbles up my tasks when synching to Google Tasks. What I mean is this: I'm very meticulous when it comes to laying out my plans. When I synch, Any.do puts tomorrow's task in with today's. I'm sure there's something that can be done about this, so my stars will stay at 5. Great work, Any.doers!
- This is a great app if you're looking for notifications to pop up on your screen as reminders. Perfect way to tack to-do lists and set yourself reminders. Front screen widget makes it quick and easy to view to-do list.
- Exactly what I was looking for. Simple, effective, classy dark theme, practical UI. Awesome widget. A freehand entry option is missing, but then again, do we really need this? Keep up the good work guys.
- Best application for me. I love the way it shows the task to remember along with reminder tone..! Wow simply awsome to remember important things for busy person like me....!!!
- I would gladly pay for this app if that was an option. I use this all the time from grocery list to a simple reminder to call someone. Wouldn't know what to do without it.
- Missing sync with ical on macbook. And recent upgrade is not allowing me to sync with any.do account. Otherwise an awesome app. Best one on my android.
- I've gone through several nite and appointment apps and this is the one I'm sticking with. Could use a few tweaks, but already best one out there!
- Works great on my Galaxy S III and my htc Incredible. Useful app. Great for remembering to call people back and for scheduling.
