AndroSensor

AndroSensor is the absolute all-in-one diagnostic tool that lets you know virtually everything about your device's status.

AndroSensor supports all the sensors an android device can have and it will tell you which of them are not supported by your hardware.

View in a single screen the data from all device's sensors in real time. Graphical and text output available for each sensor (graphical output not available for proximity, location and battery info)

  • location, location provider, accuracy, altitude and speed
  • Google maps to show the above info. Tapping on your location shows your address, postal code and location accuracy (if available)
  • accelerometer readings,
  • gyroscope readings,
  • light sensor value,
  • ambient magnetic field values,
  • device orientation
  • proximity sensor readings
  • pressure sensor (barometer)
  • temperature readings
  • battery status, voltage, temperature and health
  • sound level meter (decibel)
  • If your device supports it, next to the sensor's name, you will see how much power the sensor consumes per hour in mA.
  • -- Features ---

Press MENU to toggle settings, determine which sensors you wish to monitor, see device info, system log file or the list of sensors that are unavailable for your device.

  • Device info gathers as much as it can and prints it out in a simple and easy-to-read view. Mobile signal strength, wifi info, CPU architecture, available and total RAM, internal and external memory, display metrics, OpenGLES version and kernel version are a small part of the information displayed. Clicking on a line copies it's content to clipboard. A multitouch test is also available, so you can see how many simultaneous touch events your screen supports.
  • AndroSensor's "Device Log viewer" is available as a patch in the market (search for "AndroSensor Log").
  • Graphs: You may choose how you want values to be displayed, via real-time charts or the good-old text layout. You may switch between graph and text output for each sensor by tapping on the sensor image on the left side. Sensors that have available graphs are distinct by the icon in the top left of the sensor specific section. Graphs are not available for Location, Proximity and Battery info.
  • Apps2SD, tablets and ICS supported.
  • 17 Languages supported: English, Greek, Italian, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Hungarian, Portuguese, Romanian, Chinese, Dutch, Swedish, Turkish, Korean, Czech, Polish

  • It's great to be able to utilize all the sensors in your phone in a more objective way. It's also nice to see how "fuzzy" your sensors are. I've had Android phones before that tended to be way off on the magnetic north. Well, they would hit it sometimes...but as they were passing between extremes of non-precision. This also helps to understand exactly what your phone is seeing that tells it that it's upside down, pointing north, facing south, etc. Hey, I love numbers and detection equipment. I'm an industrial hygienist. What can I say? The tips and graph modes are a very nice touch! Great work, Fiv Asim!
  • Tap into your 'droids brain and see what it sees! It provides info on each sensor type and normal operating values, plots graphs and has an EXIT button so that I know its not running in the background. I clicked some ads, since Google won't let him sell it from his country. Excellent app! Works perfectly on the tf300
  • Great utility for Developers to alleviate writing mini apps to do just what this app provides, all in one cohesive free or low cost Apk. Note to Scott and others wanting to support this Dec., I felt the same, if you scroll down in about help, there is a Donate button for 0.99. Nice job and informative.
  • I was having issues with my screen going black (and never coming back) after I would call someone. This app helped me determine that my screen protector had shifted ever-so-slightly and was permanently blocking my proximity sensor. This app saved me from taking my phone in for repair. Life Saver!
  • I'll start ya w 5 stars. See how she works, which from what I read it better be all that, or stars will be falling to the Not So Great island of straight up POSs Apps & their poor Stars. lol, ha ha ha. Oh well, im using an LGE LS670(LG OP S), 2.3.5.2 Android, Sprint
  • This is a great app! Is there any way to define how many significant digits to display? I usually only need 1 or 2 digits after the decimal. The numbers change so rapidly that it confuses my students. Thanks!
  • I totally love this app. It's like abunch of cool apps combined into one. Defenitly a staple app and keeper. I'm learning from it and am surprised at all the stuff my phone is doing. Awsome, thanks.
  • If you want to sell your phone, download this app. It tells you what your phone is capable of. And proves everything works correctly. Well worth the memory usage, and free. :)
  • Seems to be only free version. Thank you. My batt voltage was my only reason for downloading this app. As 4.2v overcharge and 3.0 v undercharge can damage battery.
  • Well designed and well built. Not only that it lets the user access all the sensors and log the data, but also provides many useful explanations.
