Number/Number/Number (example: 10/10/6) means GPRS Class/Max download speed/Max upload speed.

Speaking Simply, Higher value boosts your data network speed,

but it can causes battery drain.

and you can choose Download speed increase option (slow upload speed) / Upload speed increase(slow download speed) option.

  • For those of you complaining saying that it doesnt work im baft lol, because it works perfectley fine on my HTC Desire S. For it to work you must ensure you meet the following: *Your phone is rooted *Your have superuser( should already be installed if your phone is rooted) *You have Busybox (can be downloaded from the play store) Steps that worked for me: 1.Open Busybox and press install, choose smart install or normal whatever. 2. Open up 3G/4G Speed Optimizer, it should show "10/10/6" by default, press it to open up the list of options you can choose ( I chose 12/28/6 or something like that) 3. Select either Down Speed increase / Upload Speed Increase 4. Apply the Tweak 5. Reboot your phone and you SHOULD see changes to your Download speed or upload speed (depending on your configurations).
  • Let's Be honest here. Many apps are not really useful in terms of having a good data speed....THIS ONE IS. It does what we simply all want our phones to be...FASTER. It allows the user to have faster download speeds or upload speeds and at the end of the day that's what we want....As for me. I am with T-Mobile and have the GSII. Running Gingerbread (Hope this works for ICS) and I am not in a 4g HSPA+ Area. Before this app i was getting about 25kb down and 700kb up...After installing it, now i am getting 800KB up and 1.2 Megabits Down...Trust me when i said this made the difference between leaving T mobile and Staying....So Again if you are NOT Happy with the speeds you are getting, get this App. You will be very thrilled with the results...And also DONATE TO THIS ONE
  • Used speedtest 3x+, before & after installing. Was getting ping avg 100, dl avg 445kb, up avg 45kb, after install selected middle setting, (increase download), now getting ping avg 110, dl avg 2,200kb, up avg 350kb, yes battery drains faster, but am rooted using setcpu, (ondemand) & also should use battery recalibrate app after installing,(* important.. if you use a task killer, when you first open up the 3g booster app, goto your task killer and ignore the application.) 10 stars!
  • I am running an HTC Inspire 4G with CM7.1 . I ran Speed Test with it set at 10/10/6 and had 1560 kbps down and 259 up. I applied the 10/28/7 settings and rebooted. I ran Speed Test again. WOW! Now I'm getting an amazing 4480 kbps down and 345 up!!! Good Job Dev! Definitely worth a donation. Thank You!!!
  • I installed a sweet root reboot widget, then installed this, got awesome speed... So I tried it out using pdanet 3.50 and hooked it up to the laptop. This little program made my speed so strong I can run my ps3 through all of this and I'm good. Cell bars full I have almost no lag gaming.
  • I never knew that there was an app which ACTUALLY increased ur net speed!! i use 2g connection on my mobile and there has been a visible change in tje download speed!! I wonder why this is a less talked about root app..
  • Ran a speedtest on my One X, got around 1.8Mbps/0.76Mbps, installed this mod, now I'm getting 7.21Mbps/2.58Mbps. Definitely an amazing utility, never thought I'd see my mobile data speeds beating my home broadband.
  • My country doesn't have 3g (lol?) And I'm using my wifi connection, and I think it works..apps are downloading faster. Images loading faster Great job dev¡
  • This app works for 4g. You have to choose the drop Down menu not the presets under the default option. Sped my 4g 2 fold wonderful little app works wonders.
  • On sprint LTE it boosted by about 2mb with fast option selected. Upload speed dropped but overall it does work. No BS and I rarely write reviews
